Week 8’s Power Rankings/ Week 9’s Picks
Peeze’s Playbook
Week 8
So that’s it; I’m done with winter. The cold, the sweaters the layers of clothing covering our most attractive of human specimen, I am entirely done with it. My wife and I decided it was time we get to so place where the sun is shining and the heat will caress our skin. Obviously, you can see through my rouse. Since this vacation is happening during the season you know that it was her idea and not mine. Either way, when I return it will be march and we’ll be standing in the shadow of the spring season that’s just ahead.
So I will be away for a couple of weeks. Simon Dagenais has surely lined up my replacement and so content will be produced even in my absence. Until I return, good luck and enjoy the cold suckers!!!
Power Rankings
Teams may rise teams may fall but over the course of the season we get a clearer and clearer picture of how good each team is. This is how are analysts see it at this point in the season. Take a look and le tthem have it at the field when you see them!

What Could Have Beens (7-0) |
What Could Have Beens are the first team in 6D to dethrone the Trojans after looking like the real deal this past week, winning an incredibly close game against a very good team in 7th Rounders. This one came down to the wire and Sean Brown showed the poise that is needed in a close playoff game. He led his team down the field to tie the game with 3 plays remaining and converted on the XP for the 1-point win. Playoff games often resemble the back and forth, score-for-score game that they played in, so finding a way to win in this context is enough for me to give them the #1 spot this week. They would be a formidable opponent to Trojans if they were to ever meet down the playoff road.

Trojans (6-0) |
Trojans didn’t do anything wrong to slide down from the top spot, in fact, they trampled Raw Sauce 44-6 in week 7, their first game back from the bye week. I just think that they’ve face incredibly weak competition and haven’t been in the pressure cooker situation like What Could Have Beens found themselves this past week. I think the weak schedule will not benefit Trojans in the long run, as it will not expose them to a playoff-like situation. Not that they can’t win tight games, but if you asked me today, I’m taking What Could Have Beens over Trojans in an incredibly tight game.

Tropic Thunder (6-0) |
Ah, I’m really happy that Tropic Thunder proved Peeze and I wrong in our game picks after we both picked against them vs. Stiffy Arm. I thought facing a solid team with some FPF experience might bring down Tropic Thunder a level. Instead, the opposite happened, and Tropic Thunder’s defense came out strong vs. rookie Quarterback Adamo Colella, picking him off 5 times. I like the statement made by Tropic Thunder, but Grondin needs to keep the INT’s down, as he’s now thrown the 4th most INT’s. Luckily, he’s also thrown the 4th most TD’s, so that helps, but in a 1-game scenario, protecting the ball is a huge key to winning in FPF.
Last Week: #5 This Week: #3 |
4 |
Les Studz (7-0) |
What can I say? They are beating up on lower level teams like they should, but QB Philippe Gelinas isn’t putting up monster numbers, averaging just under 3 TD’s a game and has close to a 2:1 TD-to-INT ratio. While I’m not too impressed offensively, I definitely am defensively. 21 INT’s as a team in 7 games is crazy good, and they’ve returned 7 of them for touchdowns (which actually might explain why Gelinas hasn’t thrown as many TD’s). Hopefully they can continue that trend in their next 2 games, as they face their toughest test in The Replacements, and then an even tougher test when they face off against 7th Rounders.
Last Week: #6 This Week: #7 |

7th Rounders (6-1) |
7th Rounders put up a great fight against What Could Have Beens, going score-for-score with them, and in fact, were up by 1 score, twice in this game, including with 5 plays remaining in the game. Unfortunately, they let the tying score, and the game winning extra point. This once again emphasizes the massive impact of extra points in FPF and how converting on them can win you games. Individually, Jafar Hassan is making his case for 2-way player of the year, after eclipsing 300 yards to go with his 8 TD’s on offense along with his 17 tackles, 5 INT’s (2 returned for TD’s), 1 sack, and 3 PD’s.
Last Week: #6 This Week: #5 |

Stiffy Arm (4-2) |
While Peeze has, on multiple occasions, declared the teams I play on as “False Kings”, he did the same to Stiffy Arm on the latest episode of FPF’s podcast, Calling The Audible, and I think he has a point. I was a little too trigger-happy moving them into the #4 spot last week. They’ve simply beat up on the Raw Sauces and South Shore Seamens of the division, and when they’ve faced true competition in Trojans and Tropic Thunder, they’ve wilted away and simply did not have enough to compete against these better teams. I still believe they easily make the playoffs, but will stay in 6D and could make a small run. Time will tell until then. For now, they should look to get ready for those playoff games and really run up the score and show their offensive prowess against teams like BDR and 89.9ers.
Last Week: #4 This Week: #6 |

Inglorious Basterds (5-1) |
Inglorious Basterds, despite being 5-1, are starting to scare me. There last 3 wins have been by a combined 7 points, and those 3 opponents have a combined record of 3-13-2. Not exactly the cream of the crop competition, and they are barely squeaking out the wins. They are however, gaining experience in how to play tight games, and the good news is that they are coming out on top, but I am truly unsure how this team will fare against better competition. Their only true test will come in week 9 when they face Tropic Thunder, a game which, to be honest, I think easily goes to TT. Inglorious Basterds just aren’t scoring enough for me to be excited about this young team’s chances in the playoffs.

Believe The Hype (4-1-1) |
Believe The Hype take a big hit with an injury to QB Jacob Soles and have gone to the FPF free agency for a replacement. According to FPF Analyst Peeze and producer Alex “The Eagle” D’Aquila, as disclosed on FPF’s highly accurate, professional and credible journalism platform, Calling The Audible, they will be going with Jaylan Grandison, as long as he fits the defensive cap total of 375. I’ve mostly mentioned Jackson Roy-Hebert as the WR threat, but I’ve seen Matthew Cadogan play and he has great hands, route running ability, and now leads his team with 8 TD’s. Both him and Roy-Hebert will need to find some quick chemistry with Grandison, or whoever their new QB will end up being. They will likely make the playoffs with their 4-1-1 record to date, but will need to work on QB-WR timing these next 4 games. An assessment throughout the next 4 weeks will determine how far this team could go in the playoffs.
Last Week: #9 This Week: #8 |
9 |
Lionhearts (4-3) |
I know Lionhearts lost to a team I think they should beat in Mountain Goats (it was a close 2-point game), but there’s something about this team that has me believing in them more than previous seasons. It definitely isn’t Carmelo Di Giovanni’s 15 interceptions and 44.5% completion percentage, instead, I believe it is Joe Morege’s winning attitude from Tuts and Parlays and Gino Di Pietro’s stellar rushing. Di Pietro is clearly in contention for defensive player of the year, and if I had a vote today (and I don’t) I’d say he’d win the award with his 20 sacks, which his double the next best rusher. Also, for all his struggles at QB, Di Giovanni can run the ball to move the chains, sitting 4th in rushing yards for the season. Just to set the record straight though, the expectations should be tempered here. In their next 2 games, I expect them to beat Boucsaneers, but lose to What Could Have Beens.
Last Week: #8 This Week: #9 |
10 |
The Replacements (3-4) |
The Replacements have disappointed this season after starting 2-0. So why do I open like that and have them in the top 10 Power Rankings? Well, despite some head-shaking losses to teams like Goon Squad and Lionhearts, I still see them as a team that can run the table in the 6D playoffs. They have the players to do damage, with a much-improved Teoli-Colatrella and WR’s like Jenikovsky and Di Ielsi, combining for 18 TD’s between them. They just can’t lose games like week 9’s matchup against the Mountain Goats. If they do, and I think they would be the first to agree, it’ll be the last time they see their team name in the Power Rankings.

Winnie The Bish (5-0-1) |
I simply like Winnie Tha Bish’s team composition so much; they might be the most reliable 6-man unit in the division. Danny McFee has started piling up the TD’s, with 14 scores in his last 3 games. With Joey Taylor leading the way and the team capable of winning with offensive shootouts or locking it down on D, I see them as the #1 team right now.
Last Week: #2 This Week: #1 |
2 |
Suicide Squad (5-0-1) |
Probably the only reason why Suicide Squad drops into the #2 is because of their roster inconsistencies as of late. They’ve struggled to field 6-man roster 2 weeks in a row, and Alex Noel has got to be nervous going into each week not knowing if his guys are gonna make it to the field, despite confirming their presence earlier in the week. But back to football… Despite being 5 guys (and 9 hamstrings – read my Monday article recapping their last game), Noel put on a spectacular display of heart, leadership and play-making ability. He was able to come away with the tie against a 7-man Chambo squad, who was up on Suicide Squad, 20-6 with about 15 minutes left in the game. That alone should give you an idea of how good this team is. I also really liked Alex St-Arnaud’s defensive game, coming away as the weekly stat leader for tackles with 8. More important than the number of tackles, it was the quality and timeliness of the tackles (and PD’s) that gave SS a chance to tie the game against Chambo.
Last Week: #1 This Week: #2 |
3 |
Space Ape’s (4-2) |
Space Ape’s are on a roll as of late, winning 3 straight after dropping 2 in a row in weeks 2 and 3. This past week, they simply carved MACDO 32-6. While Charles Duschene didn’t have his cleanest game throwing 3 INT’s, he didn’t need to be perfect as the defense stepped up with 3 INT’s of their own and allowing only 1 score. They also contained MACDO’s best WR threat in Philippe Diquinzio to a single catch for 8 yards and no TD’s. I feel like the team is going a little under the radar, but they really shouldn’t. This is a very solid team that can matchup with many of the top teams in Div 6. They aren’t going unnoticed any longer. They get the #3 spot in this week’s Power Rankings.
Last Week: #4 This Week: #3 |
4 |
Masters of Coin (4-1-1) |
It feels like an eternity since Masters of Coin have last played a football game, but showed no rust, racking up 47 points against Menace II Sobriety. Max Dayan was simply lights out in this one; by far his best game of the season, completing 15 of 21 passes for 200 yards and 7 TD’s. He also spread the ball very evenly and for large chunks of yards, as 4 receivers had 30 or more yards. Masters of Coin face some decent competition the next 2 weeks, but still expect them to win those games. A great game will come in week 10, when they face off against Suicide Squad. That will be a great measuring stick for Dayan and he and the team should prepare for it as if it were a playoff game.
Last Week: #5 This Week: #4 |
5 |
Primetime (5-2) |
I’m loving the stats rookie QB Nick Richard is putting up with Primetime. He’s a true dual-threat QB, and is protecting the ball too, only throwing 5 INT’s so far on the season. Zack Stacey is trying to make it a competition for offensive player of the year vs. the clear leader in Cooper Young, so to have a candidate for OPOY on your roster is a testament to their offensive punch. I believe I mentioned it in prior Power Rankings, but I’d like to see a #2 receiver develop, and it looks like his name is Alessio Muro. I would expect them to finish off the season with 3 more wins, but who knows which Takin’ for Tua team will show up Saturday in Lachine.
Last Week: #7 This Week: #5 |
6 |
Trapstars (4-2) |
Trapstars let a 25-14 lead blow away against Pension Plan, and drop down to the #6 spot. I still like the team to rebound and put the loss behind them the rest of the way, and they need to, because MACDO is not your typical 2-5 team, Space Ape’s are the real deal, and Suicide Squad are top dogs to win the division. Cooper Young is leading the way for Offensive Player of the Year, but needs, like Primetime, a legit WR #2 that’s not just a dump-off pass to their snapper. That being said, Ryan Garber is a sneaky-fast and lanky quarterback that can evade tacklers with ease, so this definitely helps them move the chains on offense, while still able to connect on 72% of his passes.
Last Week: #3 This Week: #6 |
7 |
Average Joe’s (5-2) |
Despite the offensive punch the Joe’s possess, as evidenced by being 9 yards short of having 4 receivers with 200+ yards, I’d like to see us roll over teams with a winless record, which was not the case this past Wednesday. While the game never felt like it was in jeopardy, a couple of missed conversions on 3rd down stalled some drives from going the distance. The team and I definitely have March 2nd circled on our calendars, when we face Alex Noel, Gabe Wiseman and the rest of the Suicide Squad in a prep for our playoff run.
Last Week: #6 This Week: #7 |
8 |
Pension Plan (5-2) |
Pension Plan are now on a 2-game winning streak after beating the young and talented Trapstars team this past week. We’re now in that weird scenario where Pension Plan beat Trapstars, but Pension Plan lost to the Average Joe’s, but Trapstars beat the Joe’s. I think these 3 teams are very evenly matched and can beat each other any given night, and it so happens they’ve been usually been Power Ranked in sequence (6-7-8 this week). Pension Plan will look to easily continue their winning ways, and in my opinion, will end their season on a 5-game win streak as Anthony Siggia and Vince Pisano are starting to connect more frequently and for more yards. Also, because they face weak competition, but should use those games to sharpen their offensive dink-and-dunk offense, but also try some new plays for the playoffs.
Last Week: #9 This Week: #8 |
9 |
The Potatoes (5-2) |
The Potatoes took the L to Primetime in their Week 7 matchup and face one of the toughest schedules to close off the year, with games against Winnie Tha Bish, Masters of Coin and Average Joe’s, all 3 teams that have consistently been in the Top 10 Power Rankings this season. While I like how Samuel Lamothe has been distributing the ball and protecting it (4 INT’s on the season), I think they are a step behind the aforementioned teams in terms of firepower and athleticsm. I also get flashes of last year’s championship finals against Hurricane SZN whenever I see a team that is better than them. Well, even if they lose all 3 of their next games, they’ve already clinched a playoff spot, so they should play loose, and concentrate on competing and giving everything they have with nothing to lose. Get that playoff mentality ready!
Last Week: #8 This Week: #9 |
10 |
Trailer Park Boys (4-3) |
The TPB’s once again round out the Div 6 Power Rankings after playing a classic Trailer Park Boy game, beating the Fridge Raiders 14-6. The Raiders were without starting QB Yan Leeroy and star WR Merlin Arcand, so I’m not as impressed with the 6 points against as I initially was when checking the score quickly. While the team will likely make the playoffs, their offense scares me with how little they score. QB Antoine Meunier mentioned as a guest on Calling The Audible, that the offensive struggles could be explained due to not always having a full lineup, and having new players running routes incorrectly. What scares me there is that he isn’t getting enough reps in with his usual players, and the timining may be an issue come playoff time. Like Peeze, I expected more dominance from TPB in Div 6 coming into the season. The good news for them is that they may drop into the 6D playoffs, and may have a chance to go all the way in that division.

5 |
The U |
6 |
Pardon My Swag |
7 |
Brotherhood Lite |

BBallers (6-0) |
Last undefeated team in the Division, I don’t see them losing at all this season. Gianni Casati is putting up video game numbers. |
2 |
Backwood Boyz (5-1) |
Is it crazy to think that they’re just as athletic and talented as BBallers? To me, this is more of a 1A/1B situation and I’m very much looking forward to March 8th. |
3 |
EZW (5-1) |
They have been dominant lately and are finding their form from last season. They have all of the right tools to be successful and should be a final four team come playoff time. |
4 |
Les Gros Coqs (5-1) |
They just learned a valuable lesson in their loss to Takeover and I’m sure they will bounce back quickly. |
5 |
Mangoose (5-1) |
Just like I mentioned last week, it should be smooth sailing for these guys until the final week of the season. Predicting an 8-2 finish for them. |
6 |
Takeover (5-2) |
Back in the win column, they should their true potential in their win against Les Gros Coqs. They truly can be a top team if they are clicking on all cylinders. |
7 |
The Sheriff (5-2) |
They can be tough to figure out at times but they’ve been on a roll lately. Curious to see how they fare against Takeover in two weeks. |
8 |
Team Ethnik (4-2) |
These last few weeks have been quite the roller coaster and they have another tough matchup this week. If Benoit Lawlor can limit the interceptions and the defense picks it up a little bit, they can be dangerous. |
9 |
Class on Grass (4-2) |
If they can sneak by Team Ethnik, their schedule becomes much easier. They’ve been a bit of a surprise this season but they shouldn’t be taken lightly. |
10 |
Mean Machine (4-2) |
I’ll be the first to say that I was a bit skeptical of them moving up, but they’ve shown they belong. That said, they’ll really be tested in the second half of the season. |

Bandit Bruthers (6-0) |
Keeping the undefeated record alive, this week will be another tough test and we’ll be missing half our roster. What’s a 10 game season without a few challenges along the way? |
2 |
Les Verges Folles (6-0) |
Looking forward to seeing the final two undefeated teams square off, we’ll have a true 1st place team come Sunday. |
3 |
The Infantry (6-1) |
Regardless of the loss, they’re still a top team in the Division and can beat anybody on any night. They had a few bad bounces against Bandit Bruthers in what will most likely be a playoff preview. |
4 |
Outlaws (4-2) |
In a crazy 6 way tie for the lead in Conference B, you have to think that the way Stephen Harripersaud is playing and the roster these guys have, that they’re the clear cut top team in this pack. They’ve been hot lately and been beating up on some solid teams. They’re my pick to win Conference B. |
5 |
C2E (4-2) |
I think that C2E, while slipping a littl bit lately, still have the weapons and experience to do some damage. Their losses come against solid teams and they should be worried about opponents who match up well with them, but they should get back on track soon. |
6 |
The Tide (4-2) |
Their second loss of the season comes at the hands of Outlaws which isn’t a huge surprise. They should still finish in the top 3-4 of Conference B and will be a tough out in the playoffs. |
7 |
Chocolate Thunder (4-2) |
Joe Kano’s big play offense can be hit or miss sometimes, but there’s no denying the effects of having Nikki Papich and Tim Horner do most of his dirty work. They can strike at any time and dangerous if they have the lead. |
8 |
Les Princes de la Rive Sud (4-2) |
Your first question may be why they fall just behind Chocolate Thunder after beating them. Well, it’s simple. I think that they won’t always have Fred Viens to help them out and I think that they are just marginally less competitive than Chocolate Thunder if you look at a playoff setting against other teams. |
9 |
Half-A-Stars (3-3) |
It’s pretty clear that Half-A-Stars will be making the playoffs and they still bolster one of the best rostersin the Division. It’s becoming clear that this is Andrew Langburt’s toughest competition as a QB and their success rests squarely on his shoulders. |
10 |
Don’t Mess With Texas (4-2) |
As a new addition this week, they have as good a chance as any to take over the Conference and they have been quietly having some success so far this season. The reason why they’re lower on this list is due to their upcoming schedule, having to play Sphinx and then 3 teams above them on this list. If they can come out on top, it will say a lot about them. |

Class On Grass |

KGP |
Last Week: 1st – This Week: 1 – They stay in the top spot, after a huge (29-20) win over a Junkyard Dogs squad, who was missing their starting Quarterback in Jason Rossie. With three straight wins, KGP, will look to make it four in a row this Wednesday, when they take on a 69ers team, who are coming off of a tough upset loss to Sweat & Beers. |
2 |
The BrotherHood |
Last Week 2 – This Week 2: Theo Ojeaha, showed why he should definitely be in the discussion for the number one spot on a future, but long overdue (you’re welcome Peeze) FlagPlus Football Top 100 Players Ever list, with four touchdown passes, and three interceptions as a defender, in his team (25-20) victory over Jagerbomb. A dominant win over Martine et le Flag Wednesday night in Laval, could see The BrotherHood, take first place in the rankings. |
3 |
Trinity |
Last Week: 4th – This Week: 3rd – They rise a spot in the rankings this week, after their suffocating defense held the Backyard Bullies, to six second half points, on their way to a solid (26-20) victory, which was their fourth in a row. Jean-Félix Marquis’ team, will try to make it five straight wins, when they go head-to-head with the Greendale Human Beings, tonight in Brossard, in what could be a preview of Wilder versus Fury 2, about two hours before the actual fight begins. |
4 |
Keyport Lock |
Last Week: 3rd – This Week: 4th – They drop a spot in the rankings, after a (26-18) loss to Les Maloudes. In fairness to Keyport Lock, they played the game without their regular starting Quarterback and Captain Jeff Rosenblatt, although replacement Erik Brosseau, played well in relief. KL, has lost two out of their last three games, and the one win they had, was a (25-18) victory over the winless Loups, where they didn’t really look all that impressive. The next stop for Keyport Lock, is Sunday against a The Commission team, who is struggling as well, and in desperate need of a win themselves. Let’s see what happens. |
5 |
Les Maloudes |
Last Week: 8th – This Week: 5th – They make a jump up the standings, due to losses by both the Junkyard Dogs and Pineapple Express, as well as the fact that Les Maloudes’ aforementioned victory over Keyport Lock, carries more weight than Martine et le Flag’s win over the Loups. |

Last Week: 7th – This Week: 6th – Guillaume Ranger, showed why he is one of the leading candidates for Defensive Player of the Year, with two pick 6’s in his team’s (32-13) blowout win over the Loups (He also has 5 total INTs and 3 PDs). After three games against non-playoff teams in Lonzo Ballers, All Hooks, and the previously mentioned Loups where they went (2-1), Martine et le Flag, face their first test since their Week 3 tilt with Keyport Lock, when they take on The BrotherHood, this Wednesday in Laval. Can MELF, pull off the massive upset, and knock off the division’s only unbeaten team? |
7 |
Junkyard Dogs |
Last Week: 4th – This Week: 7th – A second straight loss sees them drop three spots in the rankings. Luckily for the Junkyard Dogs, they take on another struggling squad, in Pineapple Express, who have lost two in a row as well. Can JYD get back on track? |
8 |
Pineapple Express |
Last Week: 9th – This Week: 8th – They got a great performance from the criminally underrated Joel Malkin, who had five catches for 100 yards and three touchdowns last week, but it wasn’t enough to carry his team to a win over Easy Jake Oven. A third straight loss by PE, could potentially knock them out of playoff positioning, making tomorrow’s contest against the Junkyard Dogs, all that much more important. |
9 |
The Crew |
Last Week: 10th – This Week: 9th – A third straight week, a third straight win for The Crew, as they were able to knock off La Brume (27-24) Monday night at Stade Hebert. Can The Crew, make it four in a row this Monday, as they take on Lonzo Ballers? |
10 |
69ers |
Last Week: Not Ranked – This Week: 10th – My apologies for not including them in last week’s rankings, it was a simple oversight on my part. After wins over the Dirty Dawgs and Easy Jake Oven, the 69ers, went down (48-38), in a shootout with Sweat & Beers. Looking to get back to their winning ways won’t be easy, as the 69ers will be locking horns with top ranked KGP, this Wednesday in Baie D’Urfe. |
Division 2
By AJ Gomes
1 |
#NR |
Complete domination vs Bad Boys and they remain undefeated. Are they too overpowered to be in Div2? It looks like it and it looks like they won’t be be beat this year. Fun Fact: #NR is the only team with 300+ PF in this division (closest team has 242). |
2 |
BYOB |
It appears they took advantage of their game against one of the worst teams in the division and bounced back like we expected them to. They sit in this week’s #2 spot but they’ll need to prove to us that they truly deserve it. |
3 |
Taco Tuesday |
They seem to be struggling after having an incredible 4-0 start to the season. We now find Taco Tuesday with a record of 4-3, losing 3 straight games. They need a win and they need it ASAP. This week’s game vs No Cap presents the perfect opportunity. |
4 |
Bad Boys |
Getting smoked is never fun although it’s a lot easier to handle knowing you lost to the best team in the division who can’t and hasn’t been beaten yet. Bad Boys face Terror Squad this week and most probably walk away with a W… If they can stay focused and play like the 4-0 team we saw at the beginning of the season. |
5 |
The Underacheivers 2.0 |
The curse has been lifted, they were able to secure back to back wins for the first time this season. Things have been looking good for this team, despite their rocky start they now sit at 4-3 and are sure to keep things rolling now that they have some momentum on their side. |
6 |
Terror Squad |
Back to back wins have them fighting for a playoff spot. They’ll be put to the test this week with a heated matchup vs Bad Boys. This will be a fun game to watch considering that both teams are close friends but both teams need this win. Let’s see if Terror Squad can pull off the upset. |
7 |
Les Studs |
A big win vs a QBless Taco Tuesday made this team’s end of the season playoff run so much easier. They can relax and feel a little more at ease seeing that they’re 3-3 but not for too long because the hard part is just getting started. It’s okay for them to feel a little more comfortable but they can’t get too comfortable because they have some tough matchups ahead and also need to rely on No Cap to keep losing. |
Division 1
By AJ Gomes
Braves |
Only need three words to describe these guys. Won’t be beat. They’ll battle it out with Got-Skills this week and probably win by a lot because they’re just that strong. |
YCSWU |
They got the win they needed last week and hope that all their hiccups are behind them as we reach the final stretch of the regular season. QB Alex Holowach has a couple of games remaining to solidify some solid chemistry with all his players before the playoffs. |
Da Finest |
They could not get it done against the Braves but that’s okay because most teams fail to get it done vs them. I’ll keep them in the #3 spot for now because given the right roster they can be the best team in the division. We can expect them to show up big in the playoffs the only question is what place will they finish and who will they face? |
STL |
Like a great phoenix they rose from the ashes of what seemed to be a burnt season. They’ve been tearing through the division on their 3 game win streak. They’ve looked solid on both sides of the ball and will need to keep the momentum going into this week’s game vs Da Finest. |
Got-Skills |
Last week’s loss to YCSWU was their third straight and this losing streak has to end some time. Unfortunately it’s unlikely to end this week because they will be going up against a tough Braves team. That’s okay because not all hope is lost and there’s still some flag left to play after this week. |
Flag Moi L’Sac |
They can be great when they have a full team. Sadly they weren’t a full team last week. In the loss to a rising STL we saw them without their starting QB Alex Nadeu-Piuze for the second time this year. They now find themselves in last place with the most points against in the division. Adjustments will need to be made before the playoffs start. |
Predictions of the World of Tomorrow
Where is the faith? Underdogs smile when we pick them and get indignant when we pick against them. The favourites seem to think they get disrespected regardless of who we choose. In the end if it motivates you, you do you!

Saturday’s Surging Surrealists
It is Sunday and FPF is still a hotter ticket than the XFL! For those who have any thoughts, commentary or complaints, I am very easy to find. I’m @peezefpf on twitter and Peeze Della Reeze on most other forms of social media. You can also take a chance by emailing me at [email protected] and if it happens to be one of the two weeks per season that I check that email I will surely answer!
Remember that each week you can join the party on Facebook live or at www.youtube.com/flagplus on our weekly podcast: Calling the Audible. The show starts each week at 7:30 pm and we discuss topics such as where two enemies are most likely to meet, the most comfortable rocking chairs and the folly of liars! Till next week, I want to thank you falettineme be mice elf agin!
