Week 12 Recap
Hello to all my division one and two readers. Firstly, I would like to apologize for being inactive the last few weeks as I had a lot on my plate as well as a surprise trip to New York city last weekend. But Im back and will try to catch up on the few articles ive missed out on. A lot has happened over the last few weeks as we head into the final stretch of the regular season. So without further delay lets hop into what was week 12.

Silent ticklers hand Mangoose their first loss
The Silent Ticklers offense exploded for a 47-34 victory over Mangoose in a battle of two undefeated juggernauts. This was an affair that saw quarterbacks from both teams sling the ball around the field. Silent Ticklers quarterback Jordan Panetta led the way with 5 touchdown passes, while his counterpart, Nick Schaefer of Mangoose, threw for 4 touchdowns.
Silent Ticklers Take Charge Early:
Silent Ticklers wasted no time getting on the board, with Panetta connecting with Daniel Mancini for a touchdown pass on the very first play of the game. Mangoose responded with a touchdown drive of their own, capped off by a pass from Schaefer to Anctil. The teams continued to trade blows throughout the first half, with both quarterbacks finding the end zone at least twice but it was Silent Ticklers held a large 29-12 lead at the half.
Second Half Shootout
The second half was still a back-and-forth affair, with both teams scoring touchdowns on their opening possessions. The Mangoose pulled within a score at 40-34 with a touchdown pass from Schaefer to Gabriel Drapeau-Zgoralski, but the Ticklers answered right back with a touchdown pass of their own from Panetta. That score put the nail in the coffin as Silent Ticklers pulled away.
Key Stats:
- Passing: Panetta completed 22 passes for 234 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Silent Ticklers. Schaefer went 27 of 48 for 282 yards and 4 touchdowns for the Mangoose.
- Touchdowns: The Silent Ticklers capitalized on their opportunities in the red zone, scoring 6 touchdowns on 6 trips inside the Redzone
- Turnovers: One int a piece
Poseidons kiss scores 50 on #NR
Poseidon’s Kiss put on a dominant offensive display, defeating #NR 52-26 in a game that featured plenty of passing yards and touchdowns. Quarterback Rocco Christiano of Poseidon’s Kiss orchestrated the attack, throwing for 6 touchdowns, while #NR’s super sub Corey Walwaski also scored 4 touchdown passes.
Turnovers Prove Costly for #NR
Despite putting up points, #NR was plagued by turnovers, throwing 4 interceptions, 3 to Rocco Christiano, which Poseidon’s Kiss capitalized on for points. The first play of the game set the tone, as Christiano picked off a Walwaski pass and returned it for a touchdown. #NR responded with scores of their own, but Poseidon’s Kiss always had an answer.
Poseidon’s Kiss Pull Away
The game remained close in the first half, with Poseidon’s Kiss holding a narrow 26-20 lead at the break. However, the second half belonged to Poseidon’s Kiss. Christiano connected with his receivers for 3 more touchdowns, while the defense continued to create turnovers and limit #NR’s scoring opportunities Looking Ahead, this win will be a major confidence boost for Poseidon’s Kiss as they just secured a very important 2nd win of the season. They will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming games. #NR will need to find a way to protect the football and tighten up their defense if they want to be successful and get into the Div 2 playoffs.
The Stoics Overcome Turnovers to Ground Run it Once 33-20
The Stoics, led by quarterback Chris Rivest and his reliable receiver Emerson Peterkin, defeated Run it Once in a turnover-filled game 33-20. While Run it Once leaned heavily on short passes, The Stoics found success through the air with Rivest connecting with multiple receivers for touchdowns.
A Tale of Two Quarterbacks
Run it Once started strong with Jeff Rosenblatt completing passes to move the ball down the field. However, their drives stalled, resulting in multiple interceptions by The Stoics’ Emerson Peterkin. The Stoics, on the other hand, capitalized on their opportunities. Rivest spread the ball around, finding Tony Vo and Felix Boutet for touchdowns in the first half. At the end of half 1 both teams were tied at 14 a piece.
Second Half Swoons for Run it Once
The second half mirrored the first. Run it Once continued to struggle to convert drives into points, despite a late touchdown pass to Matt Bond. The Stoics added two more touchdowns through the air, with Rivest finding Peterkin twice for scores.
Key Stats:
- Passing: Rivest completed 32 of 48 passes for 234 yards and 5 touchdowns for The Stoics. Rosenblatt went 28 of 52 for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns for Run it Once.
- Receiving: Peterkin led The Stoics with 10 receptions for 87 yards and 3 touchdowns. Noah Groper had a strong game for Run it Once with 8 receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.
- Turnovers: The Stoics capitalized on 3 interceptions by Peterkin and Gomis to secure the victory.
Cap Friendly Braves remain undefeated
The Cap Friendly Braves dominated the Skillz Bees from start to finish, racking up 40 points in a convincing victory. Quarterback Joe Maheu of the Braves threw for 4 touchdowns, while wide receiver Will Trottier had a strong performance with 3 touchdown receptions. The Skillz Bees struggled offensively, turning the ball over multiple times and failing to generate consistent scoring drives.
Maheu Leads the Charge
The Braves took control of the game early, with Maheu connecting with W. Trottier for a touchdown pass on their opening drive. The Skillz Bees responded with a touchdown drive of their own, but the Braves answered right back with another scoring drive, capped off by a touchdown pass to W. Paquette. Maheu continued to find his receivers throughout the half, throwing another touchdown pass to Trottier before halftime.
Cap Friendly Braves Pull Away in Second Half
The second half was more of the same for the Cap Friendly Braves. Maheu threw touchdown passes to M. Pierrecin and E. Chateauvert to extend their lead. The Skillz Bees’ woes continued, as they were unable to overcome their interception problems. They did manage to add a touchdown in the second half, but it was not enough to challenge the Braves.

ATH Squad gets their first win
A Thriller Comes Down to the Wire where ATH Squad edges out FFN 25-22
In a nail-biting game, ATH Squad secured a narrow victory over FFN with a final score of 25-22. While FFN’s quarterback Jarryd Taylor threw for more yards (143) and touchdowns (3) compared to Ryth-Jean Giraud of ATH Squad (46 yards, 2 touchdowns), it was a defensive masterclass by Vincy Biandé of ATH Squad that sealed the deal. Biandé’s stat line was phenomenal, registering 4 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a whopping 2 touchdowns. The game was a seesaw battle throughout, with both teams trading blows. FFN struck first with a touchdown pass from Taylor to Edghill, but ATH Squad responded with a touchdown of their own from Giraud to Wiltshire. The first half ended with FFN leading 14-12.The turning point came early in the second half when Taylor threw an interception to Biandé, who returned it for a touchdown. This gave ATH Squad the lead for the first time in the game, and they never looked back. The biggest takeaway from this game was that this was the battle for the last playoff spot in Division 1. FFN have officially been eliminated from playoffs now standing at 0-9.
Key Stats:
- Interceptions: Biandé’s 2 interceptions were the difference in the game. FFN also threw 2 interceptions, with Taylor throwing one to Biandé and Christiano throwing another to Alexis.
- Sacks: Both teams were effective at getting to the quarterback. FFN’s Fon had 2 sacks, including a crucial one on Giraud in the second half. ATH Squad also got a sack from Wiltshire.
Braves beat up Royaume Luminaire
The Braves dominated the Royaume Luminaire through the air, racking up 50 points in a high-scoring victory. Quarterback J. Maheu of the Braves threw for 6 touchdowns, while James Drysdale was his favourite target, hauling in 8 receptions for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns. Royaume Luminaire’s offense struggled to keep pace, despite a valiant effort from talented quarterback Jesse Dupuis.
Braves Take Charge Early
The Braves wasted no time getting on the board, with Maheu connecting with M. Pierrecin for a touchdown pass on their opening drive. Royaume Luminaire responded with a touchdown drive of their own, but the Braves answered right back with another scoring drive, capped off by a touchdown pass to J. Drysdale. The Braves continued to pile on points in the first half, extending their lead to 26-7 at the break.
Braves Pull Away in Second Half
The second half was more of the same, with the Braves showcasing their aerial attack. Maheu threw touchdown passes to Drysdale, W. Trottier, and G. Beland to put the game out of reach. Royaume Luminaire added two more touchdowns of their own in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.
Key Stats:
- Passing: Maheu completed 30 of 48 passes for 384 yards and 6 touchdowns for the Braves. Dupuis went 24 of 42 for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns for Royaume Luminaire.
- Receiving: Drysdale’s 8 receptions for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns led the way for the Braves. Marc Lapointe had a strong game for Royaume Luminaire, catching 8 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
- Turnovers: Royaume Luminaire threw 3 interceptions, which the Braves capitalized on for points. Where Braves did not turn the ball over.
