Poseidon’s kiss gets their first W
The Division B Champions have finally got their first win of the season here in week 9. It did not come easy though as they won a thrilling game against Skillz Bees 67-63. 18 total Tds were scored in this game, 9 a piece. But it was the extra points that led Poseidon’s kiss to their first win of the season as they outscored Skills Bees by 4 points on converts. Chris Milard was the biggest X-factor for Poseidon’s Kiss as he caught 7 passes for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the defensive side, Milard also got the only interception for Poseidon’s kiss. Poseidon’s Kiss still sits in last place in division 2 but their next two upcoming games are versus The Stoics and#NR, 2 teams who are only one game ahead of Poseidon’s Kiss so their upcoming games are crucial to their season turnaround. Skillz Bees now falls to 1-4-1 and have to play the only two undefeated teams in division 2 in their next two games. Very tough stretch for Skills Bees and a chance for Poseidon’s Kiss to gain some momentum as the season comes to a close.
Oh where oh where has AJ gone?
Known for his lighting speed, excellent route running and magnetic hands, AJ is one of the Top receivers in all of FPF. Having played with AJ for multiple seasons, I know his exceptional talent and skill first hand. And for the most part in division 1 AJ is being Aj. With 4 games played with Royaume Luminaire he has caught 6 Td’s and intercepted 2 passes. But in division 2 with Terror Squad, I believe he is much better then his stats say and Terror Squads record. Granted AJ has missed 2 games but in 4 games (like in division 1) he has only hauled in 15 passes for 3 touchdowns and has only forced one interception which came in their latest loss to ambush. In their latest 41-20 loss to Ambush AJ was held to an astounding one catch for 3 yards. Terror Squad has 3 receivers with more touchdowns than him and 2 receivers with more yards then him. I don’t necessarily think AJ is playing bad or is having a terrible season, but AJ usually averages 500+ yards and 15 Tds a season and at his current rate his division 2 stats will fall short of his usual play. Even the Terror Squad .500 record is something I’m a little disappointed in but im very confident my mini roast of AJ and all the guys there on Terror Squad will force them to awaken and start putting up some serious numbers. Aj and Tam have a great relationship so they shouldn’t have too much trouble getting on the same page. Terror Squad faces #NR and Blue Ballers in their next 2 contests and i’m expecting them to take both W’s.
The Stoics Stun Bless Up in Second Half Explosion!
In a game that defied expectations, the lowly Stoics (1-4) pulled off a miraculous comeback victory over the favoured Bless Up (2-3) by a final score of 43-36. Bless Up looked poised to cruise to victory after taking an 18-20 lead into the locker room at halftime. But the second half belonged entirely to the Stoics, fuelled by the scorching performance of quarterback Chris Rivest. Rivest carved up the Bless Up defense, completing a staggering 20 of 23 passes for 234 yards and a mind-blowing six touchdowns. Emerson Peterkin was the top receiver for the Stoics as the young stud caught all 9 passes thrown to him for 107 yards and 1 touchdown. He was also the lone receiver to score a point on converts for the Stoics. This unexpected win marks a significant turning point for the Stoics. After a rough start to the season, they’ve proven they can hang with any team in the league, especially when Rivest is on fire. It looks like the Stoics will be without Jeanslee Alexis and Felix Boutet for the remainder of the season. Although I do believe this limits the ceiling of The Stoics, I do think they can keep competing in division 2. Bless Up, on the other hand, will be left scratching their heads after letting a seemingly sure win slipped through their fingers. This marks the second loss in a row for Bless Up and puts them at 2-4 on the season.
The Jamesons receivers lead the pack In div 1!
In the competitive race for best division 1 receiver, Adam Rosen and Anthony Brisebois of The Jamesons reign supreme. Not only as the best duo/ double-headed monster that strikes fear into opposing defences but the number 1 and 2 leader in Touchdowns. With their contrasting styles, they epitomize versatility in the receiver position. Adam Rosen, towering and powerful, serves as the deep threat, capable of outmuscling defenders and snatching contested catches with ease. Meanwhile, Anthony Brisebois, agile and lightning-fast, excels in creating separation and turning short receptions into explosive plays with his elusive run-after-catch ability. Together, they form an unstoppable force, leading The Jamesons to dominance in Division 1. Their impressive season statistics only reinforce their impact: Rosen with 17 catches, 308 yards, and 11 touchdowns, while Brisebois boasts 35 catches, 434 yards, and an equal 11 touchdowns. As The Jamesons’ dynamic receiving tandem, Rosen and Brisebois continue to showcase their undeniable prowess on the gridiron, leaving a trail of defeated opponents in their wake. The Jamesons at 6-1, sit alone as the number one seed in Div 1 and also are the points for leaders in the division after 9 weeks. Can they keep up this pace and remain the best offence in FPF.

Allstars vs Jamesons
Prediction: Never bet against the Goat, give me Allstars 52-46.
The Jamesons Dominate the Allstars with a Final Score of 52-38
The Jamesons, led by quarterback Jeff Rosenblatt’s stellar performance, secured a convincing victory over the Allstars. Rosenblatt completed 24 of his 34 passes for an impressive 245 yards and a staggering 7 touchdowns. Jamesons take charge in the first half as they wasted no time establishing their dominance, with Rosenblatt leading scoring drives right from the get-go. He connected with receivers Manu Allard-Roy, Daniel Mancini, and Anthony Brisebois for touchdowns in the first half. The Allstars managed to respond with touchdowns of their own from Rory Semerjian and Matt Kirouac, but a crucial interception by Mancini for a touchdown right before halftime extended the Jamesons’ lead to 34-18. The second half continued the trend of touchdowns, with both teams trading scores. Rosenblatt threw for three more touchdowns in the second half, finding Adam Rosen, Kalil Kerr, and Jordan Panetta for scores. Spreading the ball and managing this offence to perfection. The Allstars also added two more touchdowns from Theo Ojeaha and Matt Kirouac, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jamesons’ lead. Jeff Rosenblatt’s performance was the highlight of the game. His accuracy and ability to spread the ball around to different receivers proved too much for the Allstars’ defense. The Allstars fall short for only the second time this season. Despite valiant efforts from their receivers Theo Ojeaha and Kirouac, the Allstars’ offense couldn’t keep pace with the Jamesons’ high-powered passing attack. Overall, it was a dominant performance by the Jamesons, who will look to continue their winning streak.
Ambush Vs Terror Squad
Prediction: Ambush is a really strong squad but Terror Squad really has been playing well so ill take Terror Squad 39-37.
Ambush Crush Terror Squad with Offensive Explosion (41-20)
The Ambush secured a dominant victory over the Terror Squad in a high-scoring affair. Quarterback Benjamin McMahon led the charge for the Ambush, completing a staggering 26 of 32 passes for 219 yards and 6 touchdowns with just 1 interception. McMahon spread the ball around effectively, finding four different receivers for touchdowns. He connected with Ethan Adrian twice for scores in the first half, and later found Quasie Gordon-Maule and Rory Semerjian for touchdowns in the second half. McMahon also added a rushing touchdown himself. Terror Squad Struggled with Interceptions. Despite a valiant effort from quarterback Tam Vilaydeth, who threw for 3 touchdowns himself, the Terror Squad were plagued by interceptions. James Drysdale had a standout performance for the Ambush defense, picking off 1 of Vilaydeth’s passes. Rory Semerjian also added an interception for the Ambush defence. The turning point? A bad snap for Terror Squad caused a safety near the end of the first half was a momentum shifter. The Terror Squad were trailing by just 7 points at the time, but the safety extended the Ambush lead to a two score game and they never looked back. in the second half Ambush continued to pile on points with McMahon leading scoring drives that resulted in touchdowns and converts. The Terror Squad offense sputtered at times. Overall, it was a convincing win for Ambush, who were led by a stellar performance from quarterback Benjamin McMahon.

Flag Moi L’Sac Look to Extend Record in Division One Matchup Against Maroons
This week’s Division One game of the week features a clash of styles between the top-seeded Flag Moi L’Sac (5-1) and the hungry Maroons (3-2). Flag Moi L’Sac have been a statistical powerhouse led by Nadeau-Piuze. Flag Moi comes into the game as the clear favourite, boasting an impressive record and a statistically dominant offense. Quarterback Alex Nadeau-Piuze has been on fire this season, completing a remarkable 102 of 143 passes for 1110 yards and a staggering 28 touchdowns with only 1 interception. Despite not being known for their athleticism, Flag Moi L’Sac plays mistake-free football and relies on veteran savvy to outsmart their opponents. But on the flip side, Maroons look to upset the top dogs. Maroons, currently ranked number four in the division, see this game as a golden opportunity to prove they belong with the league’s elite. Quarterback Chad Byers has been leading a strong Maroons offense, and a win against Flag Moi L’Sac would be a significant statement victory. Can the Maroons Pull Off the Upset? The Maroons will need to play a near-flawless game to knock off the dominant Flag Moi L’Sac. Their defense will have its hands full trying to contain the high-powered offense led by Nadeau-Piuze. However, if the Maroons can generate turnovers, capitalize on scoring opportunities, and outscore Flag Moi on convert attempts they’ll have a great chance to pull off a major upset! Can the Maroons’ defense slow down the Flag Moi L’Sac passing attack? Or Will Alex Nadeau-Piuze continue his incredible touchdown streak? This promises to be an exciting matchup between a well-oiled machine in Flag Moi L’Sac and a determined Maroons team hungry for a statement win. Don’t miss this Division One showdown!
