Watch out for these players!

Welcome back! 2 weeks have passed, and we are slowly starting to see the threats of each team offensively and defensively. We are seeing who is standing out from the crowd of players. Therefore, I mostly used the stats from their games to determine who these players are as I cannot watch every single game every week, unfortunately. I will name people to watch out for when you are playing against them as they will probably either get a lot of passes or defend well their zone/man coverage. Enjoy!

Coed 1

EZFun

Offense: Jean Christophe Ferland

A beast on offense, he can play as much of a center as a slot or wide receiver. Playing snapper can fool you as he can snap the ball and then catch it on a corner route as he is a very fast and agile player. 

Defense: Nicolas Blais

He reads the offense and covers his zone really well. If you’re in his zone you will most definitely get deflag fast, he will not let you go very far.

IG Team

Offense : Jourdain Alexi

He is a very athletic person, he knows his way around the field and is not scared to jump for the ball. 

Defense: Jeanslee Alexi

His reading on defence is exceptional. He can play short and deep and has the speed to get to where the ball is thrown. You may not see him while running your route but I promise you as soon as you get the ball, he is there waiting to get your flag.

Female athlete: Constance Millaire

She is an amazing female player. With an athletic background of more than 15 years in flag football (correct me if i’m wrong!), she understands the world of flag very well. She gets open, catches the ball when its thrown in her direction and 

Kiss My End Zone

Offense: Marvin Steinberg

An absolute gem to have on your team. His route running will have you stumbling as he knows his way around. He is the type of player who will help his QB by mentioning what the defence is doing often and how they can adjust to make touchdowns.

Defense: Isiah Allard

An amazing rusher. His height advantages him a lot as when you are a QB and see a tall player rushing you, you will have trouble reading the middle of the field. Therefore, his height can take away the middle field and force him to throw towards the sidelines.

Female athlete: Geraldine Cabillo-Abante

A speedster. With a basketball background before flag, she adjusted very fast to the flag football game. She is very athletic therefore she has the speed, the hands and is not scared to dive for the ball as seen in the video.

Plenty of fish

Offense: Dylan Taylor

With his current stats of 10/10 for catches, 172 yards and 4 touchdowns. He is the touchdown maker for this team and as I saw before, he will find the holes in the defense in order to his QB to throw to him.

Defense: Julian McLaren-Thompson

Another rusher that is excelling in his position. He’s already got 6 sacks in 2 games. He’s got the speed to get to the QB very fast forcing them to read quickly and get the ball out of their hands quickly also. His speed puts a lot of pressure on the other team’s QB.

Zerosub

Offense: Caroline Moquin-Joubert

A stud of a player. Having played against her in the finals, I can confidently say that even male players have a difficult time covering her. Her route running will make the defense hesitate to where she is going and that will buy her just enough time to have a separation between the defense so that Sara Parker can throw her the ball.

Defense: Jasmine Farmer

An excellent defensive player. She doesn’t get beat by double moves, she will stay patient until you run your route and will be there to get your flags.

Party Mix

Offense: Anne Frédérique Tardif

Great route running, great hands, she has a great notion of the field also. She will catch near the sidelines and WILL have her feet in as seen in the video. She’s a very versatile player as she excels at every position she is put in.

Defense: AJ Gomes

Absolute game changer. He is the type of player that will get many interceptions as he reads the offense amazingly and will get pick six’s as he moves quickly and will make you miss his flags for sure. A player everyone would want on their team as he can turnover any game with only one catch.

Les Petits Phoques

Offense: Dom Lefort

A speedy player. He is the type of QB that will run whenever he can and at any point in the game even if you’re not close to the first down. Very hard to get his flags as he can pass by you and you will not have time to grab them. Also very hard to run after as he moves rapidly.

Defense: Anne-Sophe Pépin

As of now she is the player with the most tackles and even an interception. From what I saw from their past game against Party Mix, her tackles are only for a few yards therefore she doesn’t let you gain many yards after you catch that ball.

Les Porcinets

Offense: Gabriel-Charles Dabe Champagne

A tall and agile player. His height does advantage him to get the ball which is always a plus against other teams. He also has a very good at making you miss his flags as seen in the video.

Defense: Kristopher Verreault

As much as he is the QB, he can surprise you by the way he plays defense. He will deflag you and take away that player so it forces you to throw to someone else.

Female athlete: Mathilde Sybille

Don’t underestimate her. She knows her way around the field and has amazing hands when it comes to getting the ball.

Coed 2

As this is a very big division with 20 teams, I will cover half this week and the otherhalf next week when I get more of an idea of who are threats to those teams and will be able to confidently talk about them! Thank you for your understanding.

Pig 6

Offense: Thomas Chaussé

A touchdown maker. He’s got almost as many touchdowns as receptions, therefore more than half of the time he will score on you. He is a very hard player to cover as he can outrun you on the long run.

Defense: Edouard Guimas

Another fast paced player. Doing well on defense with 5 tackles, 3 PD’s and 2 interceptions in only 2 games. He is another player to watch out for when he is on defense against you.

Lords of the Field

Offense: Alex Laroche

A nice first read when it comes to short passes. He gets open and isn’t afraid to take the space to go get the ball and will definitely catch it if it’s in his reach.

Defense: Audrey Lajoie

Seems to be doing well with 4 tackles, 1 interception and 2 PD’s. She’s the type of player that is very athletic and smart when playing.

Team Rocket

Offense: Guillaume Beland

An experienced player who has been seen playing in division 1 with Braves. Usually a receiver but it isn’t the first time he is throwing in coed. Watch out for him as he may not have tons of experience as a QB, he knows how the offense will develop and will get that ball in the open areas.

Defense: Nassim Ouadhi

An athletic player who gets a lot of tackles and interceptions. Throwing it in his direction could be a mistake as he can intercept it to give the ball back to his teammates.

Kiss My Christmas Balls

Offense: Ignacio Valdes Manzanedo

Very agile, and has the speed and great hands to make some plays. He is known for doing dips when you are close to deflagging him. You never know when he will make them therefore you don’t expect it which makes you miss it and off he goes to the endzone.

Defense: Alexi Dubois

Knows how to play defense very well as he is the defensive coordinator. He makes great play calls and reads well the offense. He is the type of player that is not afraid to dive towards you for you to not get the ball neither is he afraid to deflag you wherever you are on the field. I would be worried if you’re playing against this man as he will unquestionably do anything for you to not get the ball or not go very far.

Y&Y

Offense: Matthew Peacock

Seems to be a another touchdown maker with averaging around 16 yards per catch. Has been playing for a while therefore definitely knows his way around defenders.

Defense: Maya Di Fazio

Gets almost every flag that is near her. She will dive for those flags even if it means she falls hard. A very good defensive player, you will not go very far when you have her near you.

Balles Profondes

Offense: François Rocheleau

He’s without a doubt a player who has speed and alertness when it comes to the field. Once he gets the ball he is gone with the proof that he got 222 yards with only 9 receptions. Pretty sure he can get his way around the defense and score many touchdowns.

Defense: Laurie St-Onge

An athletic female player who knows her job on defense since she’s one of the main tackle makers for their team.

Pass Whoopin’

Offense :Joey Notaro

An amazing offensive player, his speed and route running is exceptional. Playing football for years now, he knows how to make you miss the flag and buy time when it comes to double moves. He is also a player that can outrun you in the long run.

Defense: Emerson Peterson

A young stud. He is doing great at a young age, excited to see where the football industry will take him. Defensively, he will bait a player as being open and once you throw that ball in that direction he will jump and intercept it, he also has the speed and agility to bring the ball back home.

Team Meow Meow

Offense: Tam Vilaydeth

Seems to be the only one getting touchdowns up to now. He has a lot of experience in flag and is usually the QB however he is a great receiver also.

Defense: Chloe Bergeron

After only 1 game, I can classify her as a tackle maker also. She has the most tackles on her team and would watch out for her if you are in her zone as she seems to be defending her area pretty well.

Fitsquad

Offense: Jarod Pita

Has been playing with Fitsquad for a while and seems to be one of their top receivers with lots of targets. He is a receiver who can gain lots of yards.

Defense: Boudjema Saada

Another tackle maker on this team. He has the speed to catch you and deflag you. By his previous stats he can certainly intercept the ball therefore watch out for him on defense

Who’s Gonna Carry The Boats

Offense: Sanders Armand

He has the height, the hands and also the hips for an offensive player. A good trio to have when you want to play offensively, he will make some good plays, make you miss his flags and score lots of touchdowns.

Defense: Alexandre Szalipszki

Another QB that can surprise you when is comes to defense. He is a fast player that can come deflag you once you get the ball.
