One X-Factor for each Div4A team coming into the playoffs
Alright I’m getting inspired by Madden’s X-Factors to name one X-Factor player from each playoff team. This one will be for 4A and I’ll get 4B out early next week. Let’s get started.
Still C.R.A.: Alexandre Bachaalani, Double Me
Bachaalani is one of the best receivers in 4A and demands a lot of attention from opposing defenses. He runs great routes, knows how to get open and is prone to big plays.
Trapstars: William Sebag, Double Me and Blitz
Sebag is a straight up 2-way star. He has 16TDs on offense and his defensive stats are insane (5 picks and 12 sacks). He’s an athlete and makes highlight reel plays on both sides of the ball.
Les Montagnards: Marc-Antoine Viens, Max Security
Viens is an imposing receiver with a great catch radius and reliable hands. He’s up to 500 yards and 9TDs. He’s one of the most consistent receivers and Julien Fiset-Cyr trusts him more than his other options.
Les Otaries Extremes, Oumar Toure, Zone Hawk
Another imposing player, Toure perhaps isn’t the fastest player out there but his great instincts and length make him a great safety. He’s up to 10 interceptions on the season.
Nomads: Jean-Richard Verger, Double Me
There are a lot of imposing talented players in division 4A and JR Verger is another one of them. He hasn’t been as efficient this season due to turmoil at QB for his team but he’s great at making tough contested catches.
Backfield Penetration: Rony Ismeus, Ankle Breaker and Shutdown
Ismeus is all about speed, and he’s a level above everyone else in that department in 4A. He’s both an amazing deep threat and he breaks tackles successfully with his speed. He’s averaging a crazy 18.3 yards per reception. He’s also a lockdown corner with 8 interceptions, 9PDs and a pick 6.
Les Blues Branleurs, Guillaume Hamelin, Max Security
Here we have another very smart and sound player with great route running and high IQ. He’s up to 554 yards and 9TDs in very efficient fashion compared to the other receivers on his team.
Ballz Deep: Justin Weir, Escape Artist
Weir is a very mobile QB who excels at extending the plays with his legs. He’s an amazing rushing QB, with having the additional skill of being good when throwing on the run. He’s a nightmare for many rushers in this division.
Mofos: Tiemoko Sanogo, Escape Artist
In the same mold as Weir, Sanogo is a great scrambler who is able to throw on the run as well. He was an absolute nightmare to handle for Les Otaries Extremes’ rusher. Sanogo has the potential to go off in the playoffs with his athleticism. I wouldn’t be surprised if they make a run, after all they are the only team to beat LOE so far.
Bet Boost Ballers: Caleb Faulkner, Bazooka
Faulkner has a great arm and it’s the first thing you notice about him. He slings it and is able to zip his passes between defenders. He throws the ball hard and accurately which makes it tough for defenses to intercept him. The loss of Oriola Poirier hasn’t seemed to bother him much either.
Undisciplined Flaggers: Dan Mancini, Escape Artist
A division 1 player trying his luck at QB, he’s one of the best at breaking tackles and making plays on the run. He’s turned around Undisciplined Flaggers’ season with his playmaking and athleticism.
Half Senders FC: Ryan McNally, Shutdown
Another very athletic player, McNally combines his speed and size to be one of the most impactful defenders from the safety position. QBs simply don’t want to throw near him which makes Half Senders FC’s defense very hard to score against.
Idaho Udapimps: Brady Ohanessian, Bazooka
Much like Faulkner, Ohanessian is a QB with a great arm. He makes deep throws effortlessly and zips the ball between defenders well. He has been inconsistent at times this season but can explode in any game when he’s on.
Born in the 80s: Sanders Armand, Double Me and Shutdown
Sanders is another imposing player. He’s not the fastest but his height and jumping ability make him a nightmare for opposing defenses. He’s also one of the best shutdown corners in all of 4A. He has 12TDs, 4 picks and 8PDs this season.
Big Fun: Zackary Alberts-Gill, Blitz
The best rusher in 4A, Alberts-Gill is up to 19 sacks and 3PDs in 8 games. He has been making it extremely hard for opposing offenses to score with his ability to create “and long” situations.
West Island Boys: Ethan Adrian, Blitz
Ethan Adrian is also making a case for best rusher in 4A with 19 sacks as well. He’s one of the best rushers in all of FPF, period. His speed and ability to contain rushing QBs is elite. He makes QBs scared and forces them to rush their passes. If West Island Boys get more consistency offensively they’ll definitely be a team to watch.
There it is for this week’s article in 4A, hope you enjoyed.
Good luck to everyone playing tonight as well.
