Intermediate: Assigning Grades

The Quarterbacks
Bleue Dry 7.1 – Frédéric Juneau
Grade: A+
7 GP, 164 ATT, 111 COMP, 1,586 YDS, 35 TD, 6 INT, 5 SK, 67.7% COMP, 14.3 YDS/COMP, 123.1 QB Rating
✅ Why A+?
- Bleue Dry sits first in the standings at 7-2-0
- Juneau leads the league in touchdown passes (35)
- Excellent yards per completion (14.3) — shows he’s making big plays
- Only 6 interceptions despite high usage
- 123.1 QB rating — among the best in the league
🔴 Weaknesses:
- None
Juneau is the engine of Bleue Dry’s offense. His combination of volume, efficiency, and explosiveness puts him at the top tier.
Five Guys – Jared Buck
Grade: A
5 GP, 140 ATT, 94 COMP, 1,063 YDS, 20 TD, 5 INT, 3 SK, 67.1% COMP, 11.3 YDS/COMP, 114.4 QB Rating
✅ Why A?
- 5-2 team record with Buck leading the charge
- 20 TDs in just 5 games — top-tier pace
- Strong efficiency (67.1% COMP), low sack total
- 11.3 yards per completion shows he’s stretching the field
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Slightly lower total volume due to only playing 5 games
Buck has been phenomenal when on the field. He’s played like a top QB, but with fewer games than others, he just misses A+ status.
CTE – Alessandro Barazzoni
Grade: A-
8 GP, 237 ATT, 165 COMP, 1,946 YDS, 31 TD, 11 INT, 13 SK, 69.6% COMP, 11.8 YDS/COMP, 114.6 QB Rating
✅ Why A-?
- Massive yardage leader (1,946 yards in 8 games)
- Excellent completion rate (69.6%) and great production
- 31 TDs is elite
🔴 Weaknesses:
- 11 interceptions — one of the highest among top QBs
- 13 sacks is also too high
Barazzoni is one of the most productive QBs in the league, but the mistakes (INTs, sacks) hold him back from a higher grade.
X-Men – Noah Swaminadhan
Grade: A+
7 GP, 211 ATT, 147 COMP, 1,576 YDS, 29 TD, 3 INT, 19 SK, 69.7% COMP, 10.7 YDS/COMP, 124.9 QB Rating
✅ Why A+?
- Best TD-INT ratio among starters (29 TD to just 3 INT)
- Highest completion rate among full-time QBs (69.7%)
- Excellent QB rating (124.9)
- Great volume and efficiency combined
🔴 Weaknesses:
- 19 sacks — most in the division
Despite the pressure he’s taken, Swaminadhan’s numbers are phenomenal. He’s a top-tier decision-maker and a big reason for X-Men’s success.
Quebec U16A – Keenan Lahens
Grade: B
7 GP, 51 ATT, 35 COMP, 445 YDS, 6 TD, 5 INT, 2 SK, 68.6% COMP, 12.7 YDS/COMP, 95.3 QB Rating
✅ Why B?
- Efficient in a smaller role: 68.6% completion, 12.7 YPC
- Very few sacks (2)
- Good passer rating for his usage
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Low volume (only 51 attempts over 7 games)
- 5 INTs on limited passes is a concern
Lahens is efficient but has had a limited impact. His flashes are promising, but he’s not carrying the offense just yet.
Primal – Mederic Lauzon
Grade: A-
4 GP, 127 ATT, 88 COMP, 907 YDS, 19 TD, 3 INT, 0 SK, 69.3% COMP, 10.3 YDS/COMP, 119.3 QB Rating
✅ Why A-?
- Great efficiency (69.3% COMP, 119.3 QB rating)
- 19 TDs and only 3 INTs in just 4 games
- Hasn’t been sacked once — elite awareness
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Only 4 games played — small sample
- Slightly lower YPC than the top-tier guys
Lauzon has been fantastic in limited action. If he played a full season at this level, he’d be in the A+ conversation.
Gamblers Anonymous – Adam Malinoff
Grade: D
4 GP, 111 ATT, 40 COMP, 556 YDS, 10 TD, 7 INT, 6 SK, 36.0% COMP, 13.9 YDS/COMP, 56.7 QB Rating
✅ Why D?
- 13.9 yards per completion shows he goes deep
🔴 Weaknesses:
- 36.0% completion rate — lowest among starters
- 7 INTs and 6 sacks in only 4 games
Malinoff’s deep passing ability doesn’t make up for his lack of accuracy and turnover issues. He’s been a liability more than a leader.
Quebec U16B – Karl Gargantini
Grade: C
7 GP, 117 ATT, 71 COMP, 733 YDS, 11 TD, 6 INT, 3 SK, 60.7% COMP, 10.3 YDS/COMP, 88.7 QB Rating
✅ Why C?
- Solid completion rate (60.7%) for a young QB
- Respectable 10.3 yards per completion
- 11 TDs is decent
🔴 Weaknesses:
- 0-7 team record — hasn’t found a way to win
- 6 INTs keeps his grade from rising
Gargantini shows potential, but hasn’t translated it into wins. He’s still developing and gaining valuable experience.
The Receivers
Bleue Dry 7.1 – Giovani Antonacci
Grade: A+
7 GP, 29 REC, 35 TGT, 485 YDS, 15 TD, 16.7 YDS/REC
✅ Why A+?
- Leads the division in receiving touchdowns (15)
- 16.7 yards per catch — shows big-play ability every time he touches the ball
- High efficiency (29 catches on 35 targets)
- A massive red-zone threat and deep-ball weapon
🔴 Weaknesses:
- None. He’s producing at an elite level and stretching the field consistently
Antonacci is the most dangerous receiver in the league and a key reason Bleue Dry sits atop the standings.
X-Men – Zack Sebestyen
Grade: A
8 GP, 67 REC, 78 TGT, 756 YDS, 14 TD, 11.3 YDS/REC
✅ Why A?
- Leads the division in receptions and yards
- Huge target share (78 targets), and he consistently delivers
- 14 TDs is among the league’s best
- Extremely reliable — the go-to guy on all downs
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Slightly lower yards per catch (11.3) compared to top deep threats
Sebestyen is the volume king. He’s the heartbeat of the X-Men offense, moving the chains and scoring often.
CTE – Jaylan Greaves
Grade: A-
4 GP, 19 REC, 19 TGT, 343 YDS, 7 TD, 18.1 YDS/REC
✅ Why A-?
- Perfect efficiency: caught every target (19/19)
- Elite explosiveness: 18.1 yards per catch
- 7 TDs in 4 games — amazing rate
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Only 4 games played — small sample size
Greaves has been lights out when available. If he had more volume, he’d be in the A+ range.
Five Guys – Mathieu Lepage
Grade: B+
6 GP, 26 REC, 32 TGT, 358 YDS, 7 TD, 13.8 YDS/REC
✅ Why B+?
- Very good efficiency and solid yardage
- 13.8 yards per catch is strong
- 7 TDs in 6 games is great production
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Lower volume than some other top WRs
Lepage is an underrated weapon for Five Guys. He’s efficient and productive, just not as high-volume as the elite guys.
Primal – Jean-Philippe Régnier
Grade: A-
6 GP, 42 REC, 52 TGT, 459 YDS, 11 TD, 10.9 YDS/REC
✅ Why A-?
- Consistently productive — 11 TDs in 6 games is fantastic
- High reception count shows he’s trusted and heavily used
- Moves the chains and scores
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Yardage per catch (10.9) is a bit lower for a top WR
Régnier is the steady anchor of Primal’s offense. Maybe not a pure burner, but he’s always open and finds the end zone.
Gamblers Anonymous – Sam Anastasopoulos
Grade: B
7 GP, 24 REC, 30 TGT, 357 YDS, 5 TD, 14.9 YDS/REC
✅ Why B?
- Solid yardage and yards per catch (14.9)
- 5 TDs in a struggling offense is impressive
- Reliable option for a team that’s had QB issues
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Not a high-volume target
- 5 TDs is solid, but not elite
Anastasopoulos has been a bright spot for Gamblers. He’s efficient and makes big plays, even if the offense around him is inconsistent.
Quebec U16A – Ryan McHugh
Grade: B-
6 GP, 11 REC, 12 TGT, 183 YDS, 3 TD, 16.6 YDS/REC
✅ Why B-?
- Extremely efficient (11 catches on 12 targets)
- Big-play threat with 16.6 yards per catch
- Producing despite limited passing volume from his QBs
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Low overall volume (only 11 receptions)
- Only 3 TDs — not a major red-zone threat
McHugh is doing a lot with a little. If the offense opened up more, he’d likely shine even brighter.
Quebec U16B – Ethan Velenosi
Grade: C+
6 GP, 16 REC, 27 TGT, 263 YDS, 4 TD, 16.4 YDS/REC
✅ Why C+?
- 16.4 yards per catch is very strong
- Has shown flashes as a deep threat
- 4 TDs is solid on a winless team
🔴 Weaknesses:
- Efficiency could be better (16 catches on 27 targets)
- Team record and lack of consistent offense limits his opportunities
Velenosi has potential and some explosive plays under his belt. But in a struggling offense, he hasn’t had the chance to break out fully yet.
