Coed 3: Who’s Dominating, Who’s Struggling, and What’s Next?

As we cruise closer to the midway point of the Coed 3 season, we’ve got mixed performances, clutch plays, and teams either soaring to greatness or crashing into mid-table mediocrity. Let’s break down the key storylines, highlight standout players, and analyze what lies ahead!
Anything But an Underdog – The Unstoppable Force at the Top

If there’s one thing certain this season, it’s that Anything (5-0) is a problem – for everyone. Sitting at the top with an undefeated record and a whopping 166 points scored, they’ve been nearly untouchable. Leading their charge is Félix Déry-Bernard, currently the favourite to win Quarterback of the Year with 635 passing yards, 23 total touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions thrown. Oh, and he’s also first in rushing yards with 298 yards, proving he’s as much a threat on the ground as he is through the air.
Pair that with the receiving duo of Ariane Neveu (187 receiving yards and 6 TDs in 4 games played) and Emile Plante (187 receiving yards and 3 TDs), and you’ve got a championship-caliber offence that’s firing on all cylinders. Can anyone slow them down? Anything is possible, but good luck trying.
DreamKillers, Kiss My A’s, BALLS & TD’s – Right on their Heels
Sitting just behind the top seed,
- DreamKillers (4-1)
- Kiss My A’s (3-0-1)
- BALLS & TD’s (3-0)
Have also shown flashes of dominance.
DreamKillers are powered by Noémy Fortin Hurtubise at quarterback, leading the division in passing yards with 818 yards and tied for 2nd in passing touchdowns with 20 TDs. However, turnovers are an area of improvement for this team with 12 interceptions thrown already. The turnovers haven’t been too damaging because François-Xavier Delorme has been a defensive menace, leading the division with 8 interceptions and constantly putting the ball back in his offence’s hands with his ball-hawking skills. If they can clean up the mistakes, they could maybe challenge Anything (5-0) for the top spot.
Kiss My A’s one of the more balanced and experienced teams, with Alexi Dubois having his debut season at quarterback, as he’s primarily known to be a defensive minded player for many seasons. He has 452 passing yards and 13 touchdowns leading an offence that can strike when needed. Their defensive unit, led by Neil Wright with 5 interceptions, has been elite at shutting down opposing offences as they’ve allowed only 42 points in 4 games. That’s an average of just 10.5 points per game allowed—pure defensive dominance.
BALLS & TD’s have a small sample size but bigger impact, despite only playing 3 games, they sit undefeated at 3-0 and have shown flashes of greatness. Quarterback Ettore Casati with 389 passing yards and 10 touchdowns has had a great connection with wide receiver Gianni Casati, who is tearing it up with 234 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns, making them a dynamic brotherly duo worth watching. They’ve dominated every team they’ve faced, but with only 3 games played, the real test is yet to come. Will they keep rolling when they finally face top-tier competition? Upcoming matchup in a crucial game against Kiss My A’s looms. Circle that one on your calendar!
Flamingos – The Rollercoaster Team
Flamingos (3-2) are a team that can either drop 30+ points on you or struggle to move the ball at all. Their quarterback in his debut season at QB, Jean-Sebastien St-Arneault, is among the best dual-threat QBs in Coed 3, leading with 267 rushing yards while throwing for 634 passing yards and 17 total touchdowns. The question is: which version of the Flamingos will show up each week?

Who Needs to Step Up?
While some teams are thriving, others are in desperate need of a turnaround.
- Ghosted (1-3): Despite flashes from John Fitzgerald (148 receiving yards, 4 TDs), their defence has been leaky (121 points allowed). Can they tighten things up?
- Hot Wings (1-3): The struggles are real with a defence that’s given up 129 points in 4 games. Something has to change, maybe a bounce back spot vs Vulturez this week.
- Vulturez (0-3) & Montreal Dragons (0-3): Both teams are winless, both offences need to find a spark in desperation.
