Coed 2 Heating Up as Teams Rise and Fall

The Chaos Continues

The Coed 2 division is battling for playoff positioning and is more unpredictable than ever. From offences lighting up scoreboards to defences making clutch plays, every week brings new surprises. Let’s dive into what’s making the headlines!

The Undefeated Giants: Team Rocket (5-0) Taking Off!

Team Rocket continues to soar, holding a flawless 5-0 record with a league-best point differential of +82. Their offense has been clinical, with Guillaume Beland steering the ship at quarterback, throwing 13 touchdowns and rushing for another three. Nassim Ouadhi has been his go-to target, snagging 10 touchdowns and torching defenses for 311 yards.

Defensively, Team Rocket isn’t just about flashy plays—they’ve been locking opponents down. Both Ouadhi and Beland have four interceptions each, creating game-changing turnovers. The question remains: can anyone slow them down?

Key Stat: Team Rocket’s defense has only allowed 60 points in five games—the fewest in the division!

LDN (5-1): A Team Nobody Saw Coming

LDN has stormed into second place with an impressive 5-1 record, proving they belong in the championship conversation. Quarterback Samuel Omombo has been electric, throwing 25 touchdowns and showcasing his mobility with 209 rushing yards.

Kensley Joseph and Roubenz Guillaume have been huge contributors on defense, each tallying three interceptions, while Stella Jean Georges has quietly dominated in the trenches with eight sacks. Their ability to disrupt opposing offenses while maintaining balance on offense makes them a serious contender.

Key Stat: LDN is third in the division in total points scored (199) while maintaining a strong defense, allowing only 113 points.

The Contenders Battling for Position

Balls Deep (4-2): One of the Best Offenses in the Division?

If there’s one thing Balls Deep knows how to do, it’s score. Benjamin Carli has been the most dangerous quarterback in the division, leading with 1,172 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. His chemistry with Steven Fioriti (401 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns) and Emma Langlois (225 yards, 8 touchdowns) has been unreal.

The defense, however, remains a work in progress, allowing 163 points. If they can tighten up on that end, they might just be unstoppable.

Key Stat: Balls Deep is averaging an absurd 34.2 points per game, one of the highest averages in the division.

Venom (4-3): A Mix of Youth and Veteran Leadership

Paul Lapierre continues to be one of the most respected quarterbacks in the division, not only as a player but also as a coach. Leading Venom with 25 passing touchdowns and 871 yards, Lapierre has turned his squad into one of the more competitive in the division.

Adam Callender has been consistent, already securing 277 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns while also making an impact on defense with 4 interceptions and 14 tackles. However, Venom has struggled with consistency, as seen in their recent loss to Flag Force One. If they can put together a strong defensive showing, they can climb back up the rankings.

Key Stat: Venom’s point differential of +58 suggests they’re better than their record shows.

McNuggies (3-2): The Silent Threat

Sitting in the middle of the pack, McNuggies have quietly put together a solid season. Mederic Lauzon has been lights out at quarterback, completing 69.5% of his passes for 988 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Defensively, Shelder Valéry has been clutch, recording 3 interceptions and a defensive touchdown. If they can keep building momentum, they could surprise some of the top-tier teams in the weeks to come.

Key Stat: McNuggies’ offensive efficiency (69.5% completion rate) is the highest in the league.

The Underdogs Making Some Noise

Crazy Frogs (3-2): The Dark Horse Nobody Wants to Face

One of three quarterbacks to throw for Crazy Frogs this season, Édouard Leroux has only played two games, but he’s been lethal, throwing 12 touchdowns, no interceptions and no sacks with a QB rating of 136.3.

With an impressive 47-18 win over Michael Scott’s Tots, Crazy Frogs are proving that when their full squad is available, they can take down anyone.

Key Stat: The Crazy Frogs point differential of +35 suggests they’re better than their record shows.

Breaking the Losing Streak: Purple Blood Finally Gets Some Life

After a brutal 0-4 start, Purple Blood has found some rhythm, winning two of their last three games. The addition of Sanders Armand at quarterback has completely changed their offense, as he has thrown for 364 yards and 9 touchdowns while rushing for another 214 and 3 touchdowns.

Kevin St-Pierre has been the primary weapon, catching 6 touchdowns in just five games. If they can continue this momentum, they might just claw their way into playoff contention.

Key Stat: Purple Blood has increased their total offensive production in the last three games compared to their first four games.

The Road Ahead: Big Games to Watch in Week 10

The playoff picture is starting to take shape, but there’s still plenty of time for teams to rise—or fall. Here are the marquee matchups this week:

🏈 Mean Machines (3-1) vs Michael Scott’s Tots (4-2) – Can Mean Machines slow down the high-powered offense of Michael Scott’s Tots?

🏈 Ghostbusters (2-4) vs Redzone (2-3) – Two teams desperate to keep their playoff hopes alive.

🏈 Flag Force One (2-4) vs Who’s Going to Carry the Boats (1-5) – A must-win for both squads if they want to stay in the race.

🏈 Les Ranceurs (4-2) vs Chefs Bandits (1-3) – Can Chefs Bandits pull off the upset?

🏈 Tonix (4-2) vs Daycare (4-2) – A heavyweight showdown with serious playoff implications.

Coed 2 continues to deliver week after week, and with so many teams in the mix, it’s impossible to predict how this season will shake out. Will Team Rocket keep their undefeated streak alive? Can LDN hold their position at the top? Will one of the dark horse teams go on a run?

Stay tuned because the chaos is far from over!
