Coed 1 Update

What. A. Time.
Week after week, this division reminds us that nobody is safe, no lead is secure, and no team is ever truly out of it until the whistle blows.
Let’s get into it. We’re nearing the finish line, and the playoff picture looks chaotic, messy, but kinda beautiful.
🚨 ALERT: Plenty of Fish Upsets The Merge
If you woke up the next day and had to re-check the score to make sure you weren’t dreaming, you weren’t alone. Plenty of Fish took down The Merge 43-26 in what might be their most complete game of the season. Maude Lacasse looked like a cheat code, going 20-for-26 for 237 yards and SIX touchdowns.
Dylan Taylor? Dude turned into Randy Moss with 140 yards and 3 scores. Galina and Theo added another 3 touchdowns between them, and defensively, they made Marc-Andre Reeves work harder than he’s had to all season. Make no mistake: this wasn’t just a fluke. Plenty of Fish has now taken down The Merge and narrowly lost to Dominos in a tight 3-point game—all within back-to-back weeks. Forget dark horse—they’re back in the “team you absolutely do NOT want to see in the playoffs” category.
🔥 Dominos Are Heating Up At The Right Time
They beat The IG Team by one point in a classic that had playoff energy written all over it. Kevin Wyeth was spreading the ball around like it was a Costco sample tray—4 TDs to 4 different players. Rachelle, Geraldine, Jamal, and Quaysie all got in on the fun.
Defensively? Quaysie is now up to 9 interceptions and is arguably the front-runner for DPOY. Rachelle Vallieres has been a driving force for Dominos all season long. With 36 catches for 334 yards and 13 touchdowns, she’s not just producing—she’s moving the chains or finding the end zone, she’s been a go-to weapon every week and a big reason for the team’s late-season surge. Dominos now sit at 6-3, riding a four-game winning streak and suddenly looking like the team everyone expected them to be back at the start of the season.
😎 Fitsquad Playing With House Money
Don’t look now but Fitsquad just picked up their third win in a row, knocking off BanaNiceTry 28-25. William Brouard has completely settled into his groove. David Michaud is getting open at will, and the defence is making plays when it counts.
This team started the year 0-4. Now? They’re 4-5 sitting at 7th in a playoff spot with momentum. Cinderella season incoming?
Also, let’s give some love to Alexie Galarneau. 8 sacks this season. She’s basically teleporting into the backfield at this point.
👀 Player Spotlight
Stella Jean Georges (The IG Team)
She’s got 8 touchdowns, almost 360 receiving yards, AND leads the division with 10 sacks.
You could make a legitimate two-way player of the year argument here.

Final Thoughts
The IG Team (8-2)
The IG Team sits atop the standings with an impressive 8-2 record, riding high thanks to strong quarterback play from Jeanslee Alexis (1,331 yards, 34 TDs, 7 INTs). Their defense has been clutch, with Marvin Steinberg (14 TDs, 6 INTs) and Jeanslee himself (8 INTs) making game-changing plays. However, their recent one-point loss to Dominos showed they’re not invincible. With playoffs already secured, the big question is whether they can stay consistent down the stretch.
The Merge (7-1)
Still one of the scariest teams in the league, The Merge is fuelled by Marc-Andre Reeves’ deadly efficiency (1,708 yards, 45 TDs, 3 INTs) and an all-around offensive machine. But their undefeated run was snapped by Plenty of Fish in Week 12, exposing some defensive vulnerabilities. With a tough matchup against BanaNiceTry looming, they’ll need to tighten up if they want to lock in a top seed and stay championship favourites.
Dominos (6-3)
Winners of four straight, Dominos are heating up at the right time. Kevin Wyeth is in elite form (1,861 yards, 48 TDs), and his connection with Rachelle Vallieres (334 yards, 13 TDs) has made this team a serious contender. Their win over The IG Team proved they’re ready for primetime. Playoffs are a lock.
Plenty of Fish (6-4)
Plenty of Fish remains one of the most dangerous offenses in the league, led by Maude Lacasse (2,023 yards, 52 TDs). Their receiving core is stacked, with Seth Galina, Dylan Taylor, and Theo Ojeaha all in double-digit scores. After an epic win over The Merge and a shootout loss to Dominos, they’ve proven they can hang with anyone.
Pass Whoopin’ (5-5)
Hovering at .500, Pass Whoopin’ is the ultimate wildcard. Chris Rivest has quietly put together a stellar season (1,161 yards, 33 TDs, 2 INTs), and Jerome Hovington leads the division in touchdowns (15). Their defense, led by Mike Pierrecin (6 INTs), is opportunistic. With big wins over teams like Kiss My End Zone and a near-upset of The IG Team, they can make noise in the playoffs.
BanaNiceTry (5-4)
A solid, underrated squad led by Jeff Rosenblatt (1,506 yards, 34 TDs) and Noah Groper (443 yards, 14 TDs). They’ve got sneaky-good chemistry and play smart football, but an inconsistent defense has held them back. Their upcoming matchup vs The Merge will be telling. If they pull off the upset, they’ll cement themselves as a legit playoff threat.
Fitsquad (4-5)
Fitsquad is trending up at the right time, led by William Brouard (1,386 yards, 36 TDs) and the dangerous duo of David Michaud and Boudjema Saada. With 3 wins in their last 4 and big victories over Kiss My End Zone and BanaNiceTry, they’re gaining steam. They could be in the postseason conversation.
Kiss My End Zone (4-5)
Led by Jimmy-Lee Janvier (1,920 yards, 48 TDs), this team can put up points in bunches. Felix Gerin-Lajoie (9 TDs) and Isiah Allard (10 TDs) have been dynamic. But defensive lapses have hurt them, especially in tight losses like the 34-33 heartbreaker to Pass Whoopin’. With a winnable game vs Party Mix coming, their playoff hopes are favourable.
Hooshmazoos (4-5)
Tam Vilaydeth (1,629 yards, 42 TDs) has been electric, but Hooshmazoos has struggled with consistency. Their 12-point outing vs Dominos was a low point, though they bounced back with a win over Pass Whoopin’. Maxime Giroux (310 yards, 9 TDs) and Xavier Couture (262 yards, 9 TDs) are underrated weapons. They’re still in the mix, but need to finish strong.
Monarchs (3-6)
The Monarchs have had a rollercoaster of a season, but their recent win over Party Mix and strong QB play from Emmanuelle Bronsard (1,017 yards, 22 TDs) keeps them competitive. Emile Chateauvert (317 yards, 10 TDs) has emerged as the key weapon. They’re hanging by a thread but can spoil someone’s season if they stay sharp.
EZFun (2-7)
Despite a tough season, EZFun has shown flashes, especially through Jean-Christophe Ferland (346 yards, 11 TDs). Close games haven’t gone their way and they’ll miss the playoffs this season.
Party Mix (1-8)
It’s been a tough season for Party Mix, and while the playoffs are off the table, they’re still showing heart. With one game left, they’ve got a chance to shake things up and spoil Kiss My End Zone’s playoff hopes in the finale.
