Wild Card Review; Divisional Round Preview

The first round of the playoffs are officially in the books, and what a night it was, Wednesday at Stade Hebert. We had blowouts, and nail-bitters, none closers than the N.W.O / Victorious Secret and the Smokin Axolotls / One Speed: Power matchups. Each game had excitement, emotion, and big plays, as ever team left it all on the field no matter the outcome. That right there is playoff football. What more could you ask for?

Conference A

 

 

Sticknmovers vs Rogue Squad

 

This contest turned out to be really entertaining, as both teams traded early touchdowns, and took turns driving up and down the field. At halftime, the Sticknmovers held a 14-7 lead.

 

The second half, saw a huge sequence of plays by the Sticknmovers, that really put the game away.

 

The first play was a pick-6 that took place when Sticknmovers Defensive Back Matthew Zoltak, picked off a pass that went right off the hands of Rogue Squad Wide Receiver Anthony Evangelista, and ran it back to the house. That play made the play gave the favorites a 20-7 lead.

The second play came a few minutes after the Rogue Squad had narrowed the lead to 20-15, with less than 5 minutes remaining.

With the Rogue Squad offense backed up inside of their own 10 yard line, and needing to convert a 3rd and long, Sticknmovers’ Rusher Benjamin Szwimer, dropped his opponents back even further with his first sack of the post-season.

 

Now facing 4th extremely long, the Rogue Squad decided to go for it, instead of trusting their defense to get another stop. The result was disastrous for RS, as they couldn’t pick up the first down, and now had to give the Sticknmovers the ball inside of their own 5-yard line.

 

Two plays later, the Sticknmovers would make the Rogue Squad pay, as Szwimer would score a 1-yard TD to make the screen 27-15. Game, set, match.

 

As has been the case through-out most of the regular season, turnovers killed the Rogue Squad, as Emilio Greco would finish the night with 3 interceptions.

 

I’ll give the Sticknmovers credit, not only did they make a play when they really needed it, but they went the unconventional route, and were still victorious despite having more than 2 players (they had 4) throw a pass for them. Usually that’s a recipe for disaster, but not for these guys.

 

The majority of the second half, and especially the final few minutes of the game, saw a lot of chatter, and even some pushing and shoving between both teams, as tempers started to flare, but luckily with the assistance of the refs, cooler heads prevailed.

 

Final Score: 27-15 Sticknmovers

 

 

Channel 4 News Team vs Los Avocados

 

This game started off looking like it was going to be able upset special, as Channel 4 News Team, Quarterback Gabriel Salonichios, got his foot stepped on as he threw a pass, and instantly crumbled to the turf. Luckily for the pivot and his team, Salonichios was able to stay in the game, and only had a slight limp to show for his troubles.

A few plays later, the QB was able to hit Wide Receiver Greg Castiel, on a beautiful stop and go route for a touchdown that got his team’s fired up.

 

To their credit, Los Avocados didn’t back down, as they answered marched down the field with Quarterback Josh Vasquez, picking apart the opposing defense with high-efficient short passes, that extended the drive. LA would cap off the series with a TD by rookie Samuel Damours. After missing the extra point, LA trailed 7-6.

 

Castiel would strike again for C4NT, as continually shredded the Los Avocados defense on his team next two drives, as he made big catch after big catch, cultivating in 10 yards TD not an in route that saw him break at least eight would-be tackles.

 

Los Avocados answered back once again, as 2 plays later, they would find the end zone again, as Vasquez and Damours connected once more, this time for a post route that resulted in a 33-yard TD, that saw him reach around his defender for the catch.

 

C4NT would score once more before halftime, as they went into the break up 22-13.

 

While the first half was a shootout, the second half, was completely different, as the C4NT team defense came to play. While they didn’t record an INT, they totally shutdown the Los Avocados offense, holding them to zero points.

 

On the other side of the ball C4NT were Alberta to put two more touchdowns on the board, as Castiel found his way to the end zone for a fourth time, and the ever-dangerous Aidan Strasser, was able to score his first TD of the post-season.

 

While Los Avocados had trouble matching the point total that they put up in their regular season meeting that saw LA pull-off the upset 21-18 win, without the presence of Thomas Zorko this time around, I have to say, I was impressed with the play of Damours, as the rookie who isn’t just brand new to FPF, but to the game of football itself, gave the team and the league, a possible glimpse into what he’ll be capable of in the future.

 

Final Score: 34-13 Channel 4 News Team. 

 

 

Rolling Rock vs Farmers

 

These two teams locked horns in a solid Week 3 encounter, that saw the Rolling Rock escape with a 33-25 win. Unfortunately for the Farmers, the rematch wasn’t nearly as close.

 

Rolling Rock Quarterback Normand Bellemare, executed his offense to near-perfection, as he dunked and dunked his way up field, and had to make the much bigger Farmers defenders, have to play the short game. Once the defenders started cheating up, the veteran QB would, despite take some shots at intermediate routes.

 

After exchanging early TDs, the Rolling Rock, got a huge boost from their own DB, in Michael Timmis, who picked off Farmers’ QB Benoit Robidoux, deep in his own territory. The play gave Double R great field position, and they would find the end zone a few plays later.

 

The INT swung all the momentum in the Rolling Rocks favour, as their defense was able to get 3 more INTS, and virtually shutdown the Farmers’ offense, as only 2 Wide Receivers caught passes all game long.

 

Despite the 26-7 final score, the Farmers ’ defense didn’t play horribly. They got their hands on a lot of Bellemare’s throws, as they were able to knock down an impressive 8 passes, including a game-high 4 by Robidoux.

 

As I said in the playoff preview, the team’s inability to find someone else besides Marc-Antoine Jette (4 REC 79 Yards, 1TD) to step up would be their downfall, and it was…Plus Robidoux ‘s 4 INTs.

 

Dez Nuts vs Broke Boys

 

Let me just get this out of the way, WOW I was wrong! I predicted Dez Nuts to keep this contest low-scoring, and come away with the win. I based my prediction on the fact that the Broke Boys hadn’t won a game since Week 6, and that with exception of their Week 10 tie with the Rolling Rock, Double B had been blown out in 3 straight games.

 

This game was close at the opening whistle, and was over by about the 10-minute mark, as Dez Nuts cold not keep up with the speed and athleticism of their opponents. They also couldn’t overcome a horrible start, as the Broke Boys were able to get two consecutive pick-6s in the first 5 plays (Shamar Joassaint and Riley Pincombe) the game, and we’re up by 2 TDs before their offense hit the field.

 

When their offense finally did hit the field, Quarterback Cameron Wilson, hit Pincombe for another TD.

 

The damage didn’t stop there, as the team also got touchdowns from Liam Barclay, Liam Fahey, Maxym Seguin, and a 40-yarder from Joassaint.

 

While the long touchdown by Joassaint was impressive, the beautiful one-handed catch by Liam Barclay for his TD on a corner route, was fantastic. The play got his team, and anybody that saw it, including yours truly, fired up.

 

Dez Nuts would manage to make the final score a bit more respectable, as they got TDs from Jono Mandracchia, Emmanuel Lucia, and Anthony Mangione, who had a game-high 8 receptions for 89 yards, but it wouldn’t be close to enough, as the Broke Boys would go on to win 50-24.

 

 

Conference B

 

Blitz Babes vs Bruins

 

 

The Blitz Babes defense got the start every team would want, as they got a pick-6 from Rusher Noah Wiltzer, who executed the incredibly hard Hat-trick play, of tipping the ball in the air (PD), catching the ball (INT), and then running it back to the end zone for a (TD). I said in the preview that he was athletic, I wasn’t kidding.

 

After scoring another TD, the Blitz Babes, we’re up 13-0 at the half.

 

Starting with the ball to kick off the second stanza, the Blitz Babes wasted no time adding to their lead, as QB Matthew Gottlieb, found his favorite target in Wide Receiver Eric Vosko, for a pass on the sideline, and ran into the end zone, after breaking a tackle.

 

Staring a blowout in the face, Bruins Quarterback Nelson Pereira put the offense on his shoulders, or maybe on his legs, as he marched down the field, and capped a long drive with a 13-yard TD run, that made the score 19-7 Blitz Babes.

 

Unfortunately, for the Best, that’s as close as they would come, as drops and turnovers killed any chance they had of a comeback.

 

Final score, 31-6 Blitz Babes.

 

Pardon My Swag vs The Spanish Inquisition

 

The Avery Lalla era has started off with a bang, as the youngster has looked good, and more importantly, the team has won 2 straight games.

 

Before the game, Pardon My Swag looked confident nasty they should after knocking off the top team in D6 last week, in the Mogadishu Pirates.

 

Having a big game for PMS, was their captain Brad Evans. The veteran Center, worked his magic on the short routes as he hauled in a team-high 6 catches for 42 yards, and a touchdown, and more importantly, gave his young QB a reliable bail-out option.

 

Also coming up with big catches, were Wide Receivers Myles Keiller, Tim Racine, and first-year two-aat threat Michael Khazaka. Altogdther, the trio combined for 12 receptions for 129 yards, and 3 touchdowns.

Understandably, Lalla wasn’t as effective as he was in his debut last week on offense, but he was still able to pick up first downs, and put his receivers in position to make plays.

On the other side of the ball, Lalla, who did get beat badly by Benjamin Bourque for a TD did manage to get his first interception of the post-season.

While I thought Pardon My Swag would easily knock off their opponents, I have to give credit to The Spanish Inquisition, after struggling mightily to get anything going offensively in the first half due to drops and bad, throws, they went toe-to-toe with PMS in the second stanza, as the underrated Justin Occhionero, and the aforementioned Benjamin Bourque, found the if way to the end zone.

 

The Spanish Inquisition had a number of chances to make this a different game, as their receivers were able to continuously get open deep, but Quarterback Jarryd Buck, was unable to connect with them.

 

Turnovers hurt both teams, as it seemed like as soon as one team got an INT, the ball on downs, or forced a punt, the opponent would give the ball right back.

 

A touchdown pass to Keiller on a post route, was the final nail-bitters in the coffin for the Spanish Inquisition’s season.

 

Final Score: 26-12 Pardon My Swag.

 

 

One Speed: Power vs Smokin Axolotls

 

In the battle of Division 6 podcast hosts (maybe I should’ve been a ref, or the scored keeper for this one)

 

This game had a lot of promise going into it more as both squads were playing their best football of the season.

 

The scoring started off quickly, as after One Speed: Power turned the ball, over on downs, the Smokin Axolotls marched down the field on a 6-play drive, and punched it into the end zone with a 7-yard TD catch by the big man, Kevin Fraser.

 

OSP, answered back on their second possession, as Peeze threw it up for Will Power, who out-jumped his man, and came down with an 18-yard TD, that was set up by a 22-yard catch and run by Lucas Blanchard the play before.

 

Stef Fennes’ team came back with a strike of their own, as QB Jordan Rossie hit Kevin Marcil, on the sideline for a first down, and the veteran shook a tackle, and ran 26 yards for a TD.

 

At the half, the Smokin Axolotls, had a 13-6 lead.

 

OSP wasted no time narrowing the lead, as Lucas Blanchard, picked off Rossie, and ran it back to the house. After the failed conversion, the Smokin Axolotls were up 13-12.

 

Next possession, after getting help from an OSP defense that dropped 2 should-be interceptions, the Smokin Axolotls were able to respond, as Rossie found first-year sensation and team MVP, Rory Semerjian, for a TD, on a crisp 3-yard out route, to give his team a 19-12 lead.

 

After a Smokin Axolotls punt, OSP, was able to make it a one point game, as the speedy Daniel Bornstein, found his way to the end zone, to shrink the lead to 19-18. For the third-year player, it was his sixth touchdown scored in his last three games.

 

Fast-forward to the Smokin Axolotls final drive, as it was marked with controversy. With SA driving, the One Speed: Power defense was able to pick off Rossie. The play gave OSP a chance to not only have their first lead of the game, but a chance to win, with less than two minutes left.

 

The aforementioned controversy struck, as OSP Rusher Anthony D’Aversa (Chapman) was called offside. Despite the call, it looked like the 11-year veteran, was able to reset his feet before the ball was snapped, but the refs did not pick up the flag, and the Smokin Axolotls were able to retain possession of the ball. The team was able to run out the clock and seal the victory. Final score 19-18 Smokin Axolotls.

 

It’s a shame that such a good and close game, ended in controversy. It would be a disservice though to the Smokin Axolotls, to say that they won because of the flag, as it simply isn’t true. The team played a great hard-nosed game, as made enough plays, especially on defense.

 

As the old saying goes, don’t leave the game in the hands of the officials. One team was able to, and the other unfortunately didn’t .

 

 

N.W.O vs Victorious Secret

 

Moving on from one great game to another, this contest had the feeling of a statement game, as the past of both teams – The self-destruction of the N.W.O. in the playoffs versus a perennial losing Victorious Secret team.

 

The first half of this game was all Victorious Secret, as they got early touchdowns from Domenic D’Onofrio and Giovanni Giammarella, and Quarterback Vincent Pisano, was picking his spots, with an effective short passing game that chewed up the clock, and allowed his team to march the field.

 

The N.W.O, whose offense appeared to be stuck in neutral, finally woke up, as they were able to get a touchdown from the underrated Pietro Mignacca, who was able to use his speed to score.

 

At the end of the first half, the score was 13-6 Victorious Secret.

 

The second half, with the team in blue backed up near their goal inexpensive, the black and white were able to get a huge play, as Mignacca, pulled Pisano’s flag for the sack, that narrowed the lead to 13-8 Victorious Secret.

 

After forcing a VS punt and marching the field, N.W.O Quarterback Michael Sanchez, was able to hit Wide Receiver Samuel Lamothe, for a 18-yard TD, which gave the team their first lead of the game 14-13.

 

Fast-forward to the Victorious Secret final possession. After an incompletion on first down, Pisano found Joe Marziliano, for an eight yard game, to set up a manageable third and two. Pisano rolled out, and threw up a desperation pass that was intercepted by Michael Valmora. That was it for the game, and the VS season.

 

Final score 14-13 N.W.O.

 

 

For Victorious Secret, it was their inability to get any second half offense that killed them. A big factor in that, was the N.W.O defense, that completely took away the deep ball from their opponents.

 

They shouldn’t hang their heads however, as they had a fantastic season, and after years of losing, appear headed in the right direction, with a pretty solid roster.

 

So now the Wild Card run is done. Sixteen team’s played, and only eight could advance. To the team’s who won, congrats, you’re on to the Divisional Round, where the competition only gets tougher, but you are one step closers to where you want to be.

 

To the teams whose season has come to an end, thank you for coming out this year. I hope you guys had fun. You accomplished what should be your first goal, in making the post-season. One play here or there, and you guys would still be playing. Use the loss as motivation to come back even stronger next season, which is just around the corner.

 

 

Conference A

 

(1) Mogadishu Pirates vs (9) Broke Boys

 

Last Meeting: Mogadishu Pirates 30-8 (Week 9)

 

Two athletic teams will be going at it in this one. The question that needs to be asked, is which team’s will show up. Have the 1 seed Mogadishu Pirates, gotten over the beating and embarrassment they took at the hands of Pardon My Swag in Week 11?

 

Will the Broke Boys be the team that was firing on all cylinders, Wednesday night, as they completely dominated Dez Nuts? Or will they be the team closed out the regular season looking like they would be a one and done in the playoffs?

 

For the Broke Boys to be successful, they will need to use their speed to get past the tall Pirates’ Defensive Backs, like David Smith, Alex Lofty, and Justin Peress.

 

Double B will also need to take advantage of their deep roster, as they have 9 players eligible for post-season play, and wear our the Mogadishu Pirates, who only have 7.

 

Making a huge difference for the Broke Boys will be Quarterback Cameron Wilson. The rookie, and finalist for QB of the Year, did not play in the regular season meeting. If his performance against Dez Nuts last week was any indication (180 yards and 6 TDs) the Mogadishu Pirates could be in trouble.

For the best team in Division 6 to advance, they will first and foremost need to shake off the Pardon My Swag game. The loss showed some holes in their defense, and in their composure.

 

A 9-1 record is still, impressive, and they earned it, with a suffocating defense, and big-play offense. For the team to move to 10-1, they will need to win the matchup battle.

 

Joseph Kano will need to use his size to create separation, and the team’s other receivers will need to use their size to out jump their opponents for the high balls that QB likes to throw up to his pass catchers.

 

As he did in the first game, where he averaged over 10 yards a rush (3 carries for 37 yards) Smith will need to make plays with his legs.

 

This one has all the makings of an instant classic. One benefit that the Broke Boys have from their loss to the Pirates, was their opponents didn’t get to see their real offense.

 

Needless to say, the Pirates are stiffer competition than Dez Nuts. However, the holes that I saw in their defense, and something that the Broke Boys can definitely expose, and I think they will.

Final Score: Broke Boys 28-26.

 

 

(2) Goofy Goobers vs (7) Rolling Rock

 

Last Meeting: Goofy Goobers 25-7 (Week 6)

 

If you look at the stat sheet, the Rolling Rock held Goofy Goobers Quarterback Ryan Shapiro to only 7 completions. The problem for double R, is that he threw for 4 touchdowns. It was more than efficient, but with the stakes cranked up a notch this time around, he will need to do a bit more tonight.

 

To do that, he will need to get the ball in the hands of Jarryd Taylor, and Wide Receiver of the Year, Max Burah, just as he did last time.

 

On the other side of the ball, the team will need to be aggressive on defense, and take away the short and accurate passing game that the Rolling Rock relies on.

 

For the Rolling Rock, it will come down to matchups. Players like Michael Timmis, Kevin St-Pierre, and Jordan Bellemare, will have to win their one-to-one matchups.

 

Their QB, Normand Bellemare, will also have to take more deep shots down field, and call plays that will open it up.

 

The Goofy Goobers are the better team here, and I think they are just too strong on both sides of the ball to get beat here.

 

Final Score: Goofy Goobers 32-18

 

(3) Goon Squad vs (6) Channel 4 News Team

 

Last Meeting: N/A

 

As I said earlier, the Channel 4 News Team, in particular their QB, Gabriel Salonichios, looked impressive in the Wild Card round.

 

They will need to up their game even more, against a tough Goon Squad team.

 

One advantage C4NT has, is that they have already played a playoff fame, while the Goon Squad, who just like Victorious Secret, after tears of losing, are making their first ever post-season appearance.

 

To get the win, they will not only need to feed off of the momentum of their aforementioned win, but then will need Tyler Baliesh, Aidan Strasser, Greg Castiel, and Justin Frankel to continue making plays an aggressive Goon Squad defense, led by Matthew Cocolicchio, Matthew Gagliardi, Massimo Cicchini, and Michael Covillo.

 

Yes, the defense is the same won that let up 27 points to Cette Équipe Là, so anything is possible.

 

For the Goofy Goobers to emerge victorious, they will firstly, need to improve their defense, and secondly, they’ll have to be precise on offense. Quarterback Massimo Cicchini, will have to make C4NT pick their poison in terms of who they choose to focus their attention on in coverage.

 

Although The Goon Squad are the higher seed, they have been playing like anything but, as they haven’t won a game since Week 6, despite closing out the regular season with 3 of their 5 games coming against sub .500 teams.

 

Final Score Channel 4 News Team 24-21 (Upset Special)

 

(4) Savage Mode vs (5) Sticknmovers

 

Last Meeting: 20-20 Week 6

 

The always interesting 4 vs 5 matchup. Let me assure you, that this is on paper only, as Savage Mode, who finished the regular season with an 8-1-1 record, are the four seed, because they finished one point behind the Mogadishu Pirates, for the Conference A East title.

 

For Savage Mode to advance, they will need to attack their opponents with their balanced offense, that spreads the ball around to multiple receivers, who are capable of taking a game over instantly.

 

Since taking over as the starting QB in Week 9, DonnDre Borden, has picked up where former starter Daniel Sananes, left off, as he has passed for 12 TDs and just 3 INTs.

 

If the team’s defense, is without Sananes, and his team leading 7 INTs, they will need Rusher Denzel Eadie-Lowe, who got 2 sacks in the earlier meeting, to lead the way.

 

For the Sticknmovers, they will need to more productive on offense, as they will not get the same field position repeatedly, or given as many opportunities, as they were given by the Rogue Squad.

 

Receivers Benjamin Szwimer, Jonny Elfassy, and Stav Davidson will have to come up with a few more plays than they did last week as well.

 

Both these teams are in tougher seeds due to being in touch divisions. As the saying goes, you have to play the tough team’s to win the championship, so why not start here?

 

This one is tough to call, but I think that Savage Mode is the more talented team, so I’m picking them. Final Score: Savage Mode 26-24.

 

Conference B

 

(1) Greendale Human Beings vs (9) N.W.O

 

Last Meeting: Greendale Human Beings 25-18 (Week 9)

 

The Greendale Human Beings simply made one more play as they came away with the regular season victory.

 

The key for the N.W.O, will be to stop the Aylward brothers. That’s easier said than done however, as the brothers connected for 15 regular season touchdowns.

 

The black and white will also have to keep an eye in Alex Joltopuf, as he is capable of scoring from anywhere on the field.

 

For GHB, they will need to find a way to limit N.W.O leading WR Pietro Mignacc, who had nearly 60 yards on six catches the first meeting.

 

The team will also need to pressure QB Michael Sanchez, and force him into making bad throws.

The N.W.O made plays when it really nattered against Victorious Secret to get the win on Wednesday night. This time around, they are playing a team who I think in GHB, who are a much better squad, and too strong to go one and done.

 

Final Score: Greendale Human Beings 32-19.

 

(2)Warriors vs (7) Smokin Axolotls

 

Last Meeting: Warriors 31-27 (Week 9)

 

In the first meeting, the Smokin Axolotls looked like they were well on their way to a blowout victory, as they were up 27-0 at halftime.

 

In the second half, the wheels fell off, as the Warriors scored 31 unanswered points.

 

Needless to say, the Smokin Axolotls will need to play a full game this time around. They will also need to execute long drives that keep the fast-paced, and high-strung Warriors‘ offense on the sideline. SA, will get a boost with return of a receivers Chris Brockwell, as the two-way threath missed the team’s Wild Card game.

 

For the Warriors, they will need to consistently pressure Jordan Rossie, and force him, to get rid of the ball before he wants to, and they will also have to find a way to slow down WR Rory Semerjian, who had 2 TDs, and nearly 100 yards against them in the regular season. Good luck.

 

I think the Warriors learned their lesson from last time, and will get off to a better start than they did in the last meeting. While I think this contest will be tight like the previous encounter, I feel that the Warriors will make a few more plays than ten Smokin Axolotls.

 

Final Score: Warriors 34-28.

 

(3) Ravens vs (6) Pardon My Swag

 

Last Meeting: Ravens 24-18 (Week 2)

We might as well, throw the old game out the window, as both teams have switched Quarterbacks, and to a degree, offenses since the Week 2 encounter.

 

I’ve already talked about Lalla’s transition to Quarterback. The one thing he hasn’t experienced though, is the pressure provided by superb Rusher Charles-Olivier Touzel, who had a jaw-dropping 5 sacks in the first meeting.

 

For the Ravens’ Marc-Antoine Vallée, the talented WR turned QB, has thrown 14 TDs versus 4 INTs, in the 4 games he has taken over the position. He also gives the ability to make and extend plays with his legs, as he averages nearly 10 yards a rush (8.8) every time he chooses to run.

This game will come down to which team’s QB can handle the playoff pressure, and not make mistakes. Although it’s at a different level, Lalla, has QB playoff experience, as he led his team (Horned Frogs) to the FPF Jr championship. While Vallée has a championship pedigree, it’s as a WR.

 

These are two impressive teams, and I expect a lot of points to be put up. Despite their records, I actually think Pardon My Swag is the better squad, and I am going with them.

 

Final Score: Pardon My Swag 27-25.

 

(4) Super Troopers vs (5) Blitz Babes

 

Last Meeting: Super Troopers 39-28 (Week 1)

 

The first meeting was a shootout. Both teams have Speed, and explosive offenses, so I fully expect the rematch to be the same.

 

This game will come down to matchups. Will Blitz Babes’ QB Matthew Gottlieb be able to handle the pass rush of D6 sack master Zackary Alberts-Gill? Or will Noah Wiltzer, be able to disrupt the Super Troopers’ offense?

 

For the Troopers, QB Gabriel Wiseman, who threw 5 TDs in the first meeting, he will have to be smart with the ball, as he is facing a defense that has generated 15 interceptions in their last 4 games, Defensive Backs Jonah Eisenberg, Matthew Gottlieb, Zachary Gottlieb, and Eric Vosko, have all stepped up their game recently.

 

Wiseman, will need to keep the Blitz Babes defense guessing, by spreading the ball around to his steady pass-catchers, in Martin Jackson, Gerry Gilbert, Phillipe Rendell, and Alberts-Gill.

 

For the Blitz Babes offense, besides avoiding the heavy rush, Gottlieb, will need to spread out the aggressive Super Troopers defense. And force them to constantly defend the deep ball.

 

These are two good, that although far from perfect, are still very fun to watch. I think this will be a tight one that will give down to the wire, with the Super Troopers coming out with win.

 

Final Score: Super Troopers 20-18 (My choice for Game of the Week)

 

 

Alright guys, that’s it first this week. Sorry the article is later than I expected, this honestly took me a lot longer to write than I thought it was more and I actually started it yesterday afternoon. Enjoy the games tonight.
