Coed 2: Dark Horses, First Wins, and Super Bowl Hype

The biggest game of the year is here—Super Bowl Sunday. And while the NFL season is coming to a dramatic close, Coed 2 is still heating up. But what if we took the championship matchup and compared it to the chaos of Coed 2?

In this case, the Eagles are like a team with a dominant run game and a lockdown defence—think a mix of Tonix and Daycare. Tonix, sitting at 4-0, has been surgical all season, led by a stingy defence. Meanwhile, Daycare plays with efficiency, much like Philadelphia, relying on methodical play-calling and high completion rates from their quarterbacks. They control the clock, score efficiently, and suffocate opponents on defence.

On the other hand, the Chiefs are like Michael Scott’s Tots and Redzone—offences that can put up points in a hurry but have defences that keep games way too interesting. The Chiefs rely on big plays and the ability to strike at any moment, much like how Redzone and Michael Scott’s Tots have been lighting up the scoreboard. With David De Andrade‘s 22 passing touchdowns and Marc-Andre Reeves leading the way with 23 passing touchdowns, they have no problem putting up points. But much like Kansas City’s defence, they’ve allowed points keeping games competitive.

Much like Coed 2, the Super Bowl will come down to which team can execute better in key moments. Will the methodical, well-balanced team take the title, or will the offensive fireworks prove too much to handle?

One thing’s for sure—we’re rooting for the Eagles!

Dark Horses Collide: Venom vs LDN – A Showdown of Two Underrated Contenders

This matchup between Venom and LDN was everything you could ask for—two dark horse teams with star quarterbacks battling it out in an overtime thriller. Both teams have been flying under the radar, but with good quarterback play, they’ve proven to be threats to any opponent they face.

Venom, a team built around a mix of young talent and seasoned experience, is led by veteran quarterback Paul Lapierre. A skilled play-caller both on and off the field, Lapierre not only commands the huddle but also doubles as a coach. Against LDN, he showed exactly why he’s such a valuable leader, keeping his team in striking distance all game long. Adam Callender was once again a force, hauling in 70 receiving yards and three touchdowns, proving why he’s one of the most dangerous red-zone targets in the division.

On the other side, LDN’s Samuel Omombo continues to make a name for himself in FPF. A newer face in the league, Omombo has been rising quickly with his accuracy and athleticism, showing poise. Against Venom, he threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns, spreading the ball across multiple receivers, throwing the game-winning conversion.

LDN edges out Venom in overtime, proving they are a clutch team. As the season progresses, both of these squads will be looking to shake up the standings and make a run at the top-tier teams.

Purple Blood Gets a Win

Purple Blood can finally exhale—after four straight losses, they’ve secured their first victory of the season with a 31-27 win over The Westies. And they did it in style, with newly added quarterback Sanders Armand injecting fresh energy into the team.

Armand’s impact was immediate, as he threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns while completely taking over on the ground. His 127 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns gave Purple Blood the extra dimension they’ve been missing. The Westies had no answer for his mobility, as he extended plays and kept the defence guessing all game long.

Kevin St-Pierre and Maeve Giguère were reliable targets in the passing game, combining for two touchdowns, while Dimitri Melsbach remained a steady presence, leading the team with 54 receiving yards. On defence, Zoë Miller stepped up with key tackles to help close out the game.

The Westies played well and kept things competitive, with Antoine Lemire catching two touchdown passes and Thierry Lalonde racking up 61 receiving yards and a score. Despite the loss, their offence is showing signs of improvement. But the real story is Purple Blood—if they can build off this win and use Armand’s dual-threat ability to their advantage, they could turn their season around.
