5v5 Rec Season Recap & Playoff Preview
1. Five Guys (8-2-0)
Five Guys claimed the top spot this season with a commanding 8-2-0 record. Their impressive season saw them scoring 364 points while allowing only 196, resulting in a +168 point differential. This team’s dominance on both offence and defence makes them the clear favourites along with Blue Ballers heading into the postseason. With their top players delivering consistently, Five Guys are set to make a deep run for the championship.
2. Blue Ballers (7-3-0)
Blue Ballers finished just behind the leaders with a strong 7-3-0 record, however 2 of those 3 losses came when they were without AJ Gomes. Their high-powered offence led them to score 390 points, and their defence kept opponents to just 172 points, earning them the best point differential in the league at +218. Quarterback play and contributions across the board make this team a serious contender. If they maintain their momentum, they could easily challenge Five Guys for the title.
3. Bleue Dry 7.1 (7-3-0)
Bleue Dry 7.1 matched Blue Ballers with a 7-3-0 record but fell to third due to point differential. Their explosive offence was the best in the league, scoring a staggering 434 points. However, their defence allowed 219 points, leaving a +215 differential. While their scoring prowess is undeniable, they’ll need to tighten up defensively to stay competitive in the playoffs.
4. Ambush (5-5-0)
Ambush had a balanced season, finishing 5-5-0 with a solid +121 point differential. Scoring 392 points and allowing 271, they showed flashes throughout the season but lacked the consistency to challenge the top three teams.
5. Dragon Magique (5-5-0)
Dragon Magique also ended the season with a 5-5-0 record but had a much narrower point differential at -3. Their 305 points scored were offset by 308 points allowed, indicating close games throughout the season. If they can shore up their defence, they could turn those narrow losses into wins and become a stronger playoff contender.
6. Trailer Park Boys (2-8-0)
Trailer Park Boys struggled throughout the season, finishing with a 2-8-0 record. Their offence was the league’s lowest at just 97 points, while their defence conceded 481 points, leading to a league-worst -384 point differential. They’ll need have complete rosters show up to games if they want to compete at any level.
7. Drawing Dead (1-9-0)
Drawing Dead endured a tough season, managing just one win and finishing 1-9-0. With 134 points scored and 469 points allowed, they ended with a -335 point differential. While this season was challenging, there’s room for growth if they can address their defensive vulnerabilities and find consistency on offence.

Playoff Preview
Bleue Dry 7.1 host Trailer Park Boys
Blue Dry 7.1 has been great all most of the season, Trailer Park Boys have had issues showing up most of the season. This game I don’t think will be close, Frederic Juneau has put together a really good season and has built great chemistry with his receivers.
Final prediction: Bleue Dry 7.1 (44) Trailer Park Boys (12)
Ambush host Dragon Magique
These teams played each other twice during the regular season, splitting the series 1-1. Vincent Bolullo has become a problem for opposing defenders, if Ambush doesn’t pay close attention to him, he may burn them for 3+ scores. Phil Roberts is back calling the defence for Ambush and has proved to be very valuable doing so. Roberts needs to call a great game for Ambush to compete in this one.
