We often get many questions around our All-Star Game event, from where it is, to the format, to the scoring system, so we’ve decided to centralize everything here for you.

Nous recevons souvent de nombreuses questions autour de notre match des étoiles; du lieu où il se déroule, au format, et le système de notation, donc, nous avons décidé de tout centraliser ici pour vous.
Where is the event taking place? The event will take place at the Complexe Multi Sports de Laval on Thursday May 9th.
Où se déroule l’événement? L’événement aura lieu au Complexe Multi Sports de Laval le jeudi 9 mai.
What is the All-Star Game format? The format is a mini tournament where teams will play 2 round robin games. The 2 best teams will go straight to the final and play a Gold Medal game. The 3rd and 4th best teams also play a Bronze Medal game
Quel est le format du match des étoiles? Le format est un mini-tournoi où les équipes joueront 2 de tournoi à la ronde. Les 2 meilleures équipes iront directement en finale et disputeront un match pour la médaille d’or. Les 3ème et 4ème meilleures équipes disputeront également un match pour la médaille de bronze.
How are teams formed? / What is the Draft? / How does the Draft work? A live, in-person draft is held with all the All-Stars that attend the event. 12 individuals will be asked to come forward as Team Captains and will draft any player they want amongst the players who are still available to draft.
Comment se forme les équipes ? / C’est quoi le repêchage? / Comment fonctionne le repêchage? Un repêchage en direct et en personne est organisé avec toutes les All-Stars qui assistent à l’événement. 12 personnes seront invitées à se présenter en tant que capitaines d’équipe et recruteront le joueur de leur choix parmi les joueurs encore disponibles pour le repêchage.
What is the Game Format? With the 2024 Spring season being the inaugural season with 5v5, the games will be played with 5 on 5 with the 5v5 rules. This means playing with only 2 flags, starting a drive at your own 5-yard line, playing with 4 downs to the half, 4 downs to the endzone, and no running plays unless a handoff is made. Since they are mini games, 1 game is 22 minutes with 1 untimed play. For the All-Star Game, there is no Onside Attempt for either team.
Quel est le format des matchs? La saison du printemps 2024 étant la saison inaugurale du format 5 contre 5, les matchs se joueront à 5 contre 5 avec les règles de ce format. Cela signifie jouer avec seulement 2 drapeaux, commencer un drive sur votre propre ligne de 5, jouer avec 4 essaies jusqu’à la demie, et 4 essaies jusqu’à la zone des but. Il y a aussi aucun jeu de cours à moins qu’un transfert soit effectué. Puisqu’il s’agit d’un mini-match, 1 partie dure 22 minutes avec 1 jeu après les 22mins. Pour le match des etoiles, il n’y a aucune tentative de “Onside”.
What is the Tournament Format? The FPF community spoke and we listened! As long as we have enough female participants, there will be a Women’s tournament played independently from a Men’s tournament. For those who made All-Star in the Co-Ed Divisons, male players will play in the Men’s tournament and female players will play in the Women’s tournament. If there are not enough female participants, we will play a single Co-Ed tournament.
Quel est le format du tournoi ? La communauté FPF a parlé et nous avons écouté ! Tant que nous aurons suffisamment de participantes féminines, il y aura un tournoi féminin joué indépendamment du tournoi masculin. Pour ceux qui ont été sélectionnés dans les divisions mixtes, les joueurs masculins joueront dans le tournoi masculin et les joueuses joueront dans le tournoi féminin. S’il n’y a pas assez de participantes, nous jouerons un seul tournoi Co-Ed.
What is the All-Star Game Scoring System? Unlike a regular flag football game, a touchdown in the FPF All-Star Game is not worth 6 points.
- When a touchdown is scored, it is worth the QB’s point total plus the Receiver’s point total. There is no convert attempt after a touchdown.
- An interception by the defense returned to the endzone (Pick 6) is worth double the player’s point value
- A Running Touchdown is worth the point value of the runner
- A Safety is worth 2 points.
Qu’est-ce que le système de notation de match des étoiles? Contrairement à un match de flag-football ordinaire, un touché dans le match des étoiles FPF ne vaut pas 6 points.
- Lorsqu’un touché est marqué, il vaut le total de points du QB plus le total de points du receveur.euse. Il n’y a aucune tentative de conversion après un touché.
- Une interception de la défense renvoyée dans la zone des buts (pick 6) vaut le double de la valeur en points du joueur.euse.
- Un touché marqué par le sol vaut la valeur en points du coureur.euse.
- Un “Safety” vaut 2 points.
What are the “Point Values” per Player? To get everyone involved as much as possible in the All-Star Game, lower division players are worth more points than higher division players. Here is the breakdown of point values per player, depending on which division you made it in as an All-Star.

Pour impliquer autant que possible tout le monde dans le match des étoiles, les joueurs.euses de division inférieure valent plus de points que les joueurs.euses de division supérieure.
