Tier 5: AIRbnb Leading the Way at Mid-Season
The Tier 5 division is heating up through the first five weeks of the season, with AIRbnb sitting atop the standings with a perfect 5-0 record. But with plenty of football still to be played, the race for playoff positioning remains wide open across the division.
Note to readers: Due to a recent website migration, some game results from before October 6th are temporarily unavailable but will be posted soon. The stats and information presented here reflect all available data through Week 5.

AIRbnb Flying High Early

Through five weeks, AIRbnb has been the team to beat in Tier 5, combining explosive offense with stingy defense. The squad has scored 163 points while allowing just 83, posting an impressive plus-80 point differential that sets them apart from the competition early on.
The AIRbnb offense has been efficient and explosive, led by quarterback Jérémie Zadra, who has posted elite numbers through three games. Zadra has completed an astounding 79% of his passes, connecting on 48 of 61 attempts for 397 yards and 14 touchdowns against only 2 interceptions. Those efficiency numbers are hard to match.
On the receiving end, AIRbnb has spread targets effectively across multiple weapons. Antoine Clément has hauled in 12 receptions for 153 yards and 5 touchdowns, while Sean Ross has added 14 catches for 116 yards and 5 scores. Alexandre Blanchette (17 receptions, 110 yards, 3 TDs) and Philippe Gélinas (16 receptions, 140 yards, 2 TDs) have provided reliable targets throughout the early going.
Defensively, AIRbnb has been equally impressive. Gélinas leads the team with 14 tackles and 4 pass deflections, while Dimitri Melsbach has picked off 4 passes. Antoine Clément has proven to be a two-way threat with 3 sacks and 2 interceptions on defense to complement his offensive production.
But can they maintain this pace? The second half of the season will test whether AIRbnb can handle the pressure of being undefeated and continue their dominant run.

PSTM and TGs: Right in the Mix

The race behind AIRbnb is tight, with PSTM and TGs both sitting at 3-1 records. With games still to play, either team could make a push toward the top spot or potentially catch AIRbnb if the leaders stumble.
PSTM has built their success around strong two-way play. Quarterback Jesse Kotlarczyk has thrown for 482 yards and 8 touchdowns while maintaining a 48% completion rate. But it's the PSTM defense that has been stealing headlines. Massimo Moniz has put together one of the most dominant defensive stretches in the division, leading all players with 6 interceptions, 6 pass deflections, and 2 defensive touchdowns. Jordan Le has complemented Moniz with 6 pass deflections of his own, while Julian Salvatore has terrorized opposing quarterbacks with a league-leading 6 sacks.
If PSTM's defense can continue this level of play, they have the firepower to potentially upset AIRbnb and make a serious run at the division title.
TGs has matched PSTM's 3-1 record behind the strong arm of quarterback Mano Kaliotzakis, who has thrown for 633 yards and 14 touchdowns on 56 completions. His 57% completion percentage shows consistency that could carry the team through the second half. Wide receiver Nicolas Knez has been the focal point of the passing game, leading the entire division with 18 receptions while accumulating 199 yards and 4 touchdowns. Knez has also contributed on defense with 13 tackles and 3 interceptions, making him one of the division's most versatile players. Nicholas Polletta has provided a reliable second option with 14 catches for 176 yards and 5 touchdowns.
With their explosive playmakers on both sides of the ball, TGs remains dangerous and could easily surge with a strong second half.

The Middle Pack: Everything Still to Play For

The middle of the Tier 5 standings features several teams at 2-2, and with games remaining, any of these squads could make a significant move up the standings.
Shockerz sits at 2-2, relying on quarterback Kody Starke who has thrown for 454 yards and 8 touchdowns. Defensively, Kris Starke has recorded 3 interceptions and 2 defensive touchdowns, while Leonard Taylor has added 3 interceptions and 11 tackles. Christopher Cassamajor leads the team with 12 tackles. The Shockerz defense has been keeping them in games, and if the offense can find more consistency, they could make a run.
Illegal Alien also sits at 2-2 and boasts one of the division's most explosive offensive weapons in receiver Tristan Koutsoumbas. The playmaker leads all Tier 5 receivers with 8 receiving touchdowns while posting 268 yards on 16 receptions, averaging an impressive 17 yards per catch. Quarterback Dante Crivello has been airing it out aggressively, throwing for a division-leading 664 yards with 16 touchdowns, though he's also been picked off 6 times. Lucas Crivello has provided a complementary threat with 183 yards and 2 touchdowns on 11 receptions. If Dante Crivello can cut down on turnovers while maintaining his aggressive downfield approach, Illegal Alien could be poised for a strong finish.
TD BRUDDERS has played only two games but remains undefeated at 2-0. Quarterback Felix Gilardeau has been highly efficient in limited action, completing 56% of his passes for 374 yards and 8 touchdowns against just 2 interceptions. Joey Alvaro has led the receiving corps with 117 yards and 3 touchdowns on 10 catches, while the defense has gotten contributions from Andrea Iseppon (3 INTs). With more games ahead, TD BRUDDERS could emerge as a dark horse contender if they maintain their early momentum and continue their winning ways.

Still Time

Several teams currently sit below .500, but with plenty of season remaining, there's still time for any squad to turn things around and make a playoff push.
The Gamblers sit at 1-4 after playing a full five-game slate, but there are signs of offensive potential. Quarterback Alex De Luca has been aggressive, attempting 130 passes and completing 71 for 745 yards and 12 touchdowns. While 11 interceptions have been costly, the volume of offense suggests the Gamblers could start clicking at any moment. Mathew Antonios has been a consistent target with 17 receptions for 239 yards and 3 touchdowns. If the Gamblers can tighten up their turnover issues, they have the offensive firepower to climb back into contention.
Jamaican Bobsled Team sits at 1-3 but has shown flashes of potential. Steven Polizzi has led the offense with 466 yards and 11 touchdowns passing, demonstrating the ability to move the ball and score. With most of the season still ahead, a winning streak could quickly change their fortunes.
Several teams are at 1-1 and haven't played as many games, meaning their records could swing dramatically in either direction.
Puff Puff Pass sits at 1-1 through just two games and has shown offensive firepower. Quarterback Stefano Spagnuolo has thrown for 265 yards and 6 touchdowns, while Austin Yazbek MacDonald has emerged as a big threat with 6 receptions for 88 yards and 3 touchdowns. Arsh Nagra has been incredibly efficient, averaging 27 yards per reception on his 3 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. With limited games played so far, Puff Puff Pass could make a significant move in either direction as they play more of their schedule.
Vengeance also sits at 1-1 and has opportunities to make moves. Matthew Chadwick has paced the squad with 268 yards and 6 touchdowns on 26 completions, showing efficiency that could translate to wins. Josh Currie has been productive with 169 yards and 3 touchdowns on 12 receptions. Like Puff Puff Pass, Vengeance has played fewer games than many teams, meaning their season trajectory is still very much undecided.
Bloodline rounds out the 1-1 teams and has shown competitiveness in their limited action. Mathieu Scraire has contributed 267 yards and 4 touchdowns on 28 completions, demonstrating the ability to move the ball through the air.
Café 67 (0-2) and Very Good Football Team (0-4) are still searching for their first wins, but both have shown individual bright spots. Very Good Football Team's Primo Capriolo-Moris has thrown for 650 yards and 10 touchdowns despite the winless record, demonstrating that the offense has explosive potential. The defense has recorded 12 interceptions, showing they can create turnovers. With adjustments and some momentum, either team could still turn their season around.

What's Next?

As Tier 5 heads into the second half of the season, the only certainty is that nothing is certain. AIRbnb leads the way with their undefeated record, but PSTM's dominant defense and TGs' high-powered offense are lurking just one game back. The middle of the pack remains bunched at 2-2, and with varying numbers of games played across the division, the standings could look completely different in a few weeks.
Individual storylines continue to develop as well. Can Koutsoumbas maintain his league-leading touchdown pace? Will Moniz keep snatching interceptions at his current rate? Can Crivello lead Illegal Alien on a second-half surge while cleaning up the turnovers? Will TD BRUDDERS continue their perfect start once they play more games? Can the Gamblers' high-volume offense start translating into wins? These questions and more will be answered as the season progresses.
The competitive nature of Tier 5 suggests that anyone who gets hot at the right time could make noise down the stretch. With standout performances across offensive and defensive categories, from explosive receiving to ballhawking defense, Tier 5 continues to provide plenty of entertainment and competitive football. The race is far from over, and the second half promises to be just as exciting as the first.
