Mid-Season Report
Unbeaten teams, winless teams, and everything in between — the Intermediate division takes shape
Four weeks into the Spring 2026 season, the Men's 5v5 Intermediate division is shaping up to be one of the most competitive fields in recent memory. Defending champions are back to defend their crown, new challengers have announced themselves, and the standings are tight enough that the second half of the season could flip things entirely. Here is where things stand.

Team Breakdown
1. Coconut Gang — 4-0
The Coconut Gang sit alone atop the division as the only undefeated team with four games played, and the numbers behind that record are hard to argue with. QB Marc-Andre Reeves is putting together one of the strongest early-season campaigns in the division — 922 passing yards, 22 touchdown passes, and a 72.8% completion rate across just four games. He is either the best or the second-best quarterback in this division depending on how you weigh volume against efficiency, and the debate is a legitimate one. What separates Coconut Gang from most opponents, though, is what Reeves adds on the ground. He leads the division in rushing yards with 127 on just nine attempts (14.1 yards per carry), and defenses that fail to account for him as a runner are going to find themselves in serious trouble. Behind him, Mickael Forest (27 receptions, 313 yards, 7 TDs), Benjamin Carli (20 receptions, 212 yards, 6 TDs), and Gab Couture (17 receptions, 194 yards, 5 TDs) give Reeves one of the deepest receiving groups in the division. Teams that fail to contain Reeves as a runner have struggled to slow this offense.
2. Junkyard Dogs — 4-1
Tied on points with Coconut Gang but boasting the best point differential in the division at +72, the Junkyard Dogs are loaded with talent from top to bottom. This is a team that, when things click, can beat anyone on the schedule. The key question surrounds QB Jason Rossie. He has been productive — 794 yards and 15 touchdowns in four games — but four interceptions and three sacks hint at moments where he needs to manage the game more cleanly. The talent around him is undeniable. Sanders Armand is a two-way force with 12 receptions, 140 yards, and 13 tackles on defense. Angelo Nimaja brings additional defensive punch with 8 tackles and 3 pass deflections in just two games. Rory Semerjian made an immediate impact in his one appearance with 4 receiving touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and a defensive touchdown. If Rossie can stay consistent through the second half, this team has every reason to be in the championship conversation.
3. Flagvengers — 3-0
The defending Winter 2026 Intermediate champions are back, and they have picked up right where they left off. Flagvengers are the only other unbeaten team in the division and have been the stingiest unit defensively, allowing just 27 points across three games — including a 30-0 result against Void in Week 3 that was awarded by forfeit after Void busted the cap. QB Xavier Couture has been efficient and composed, completing 72.9% of his attempts for 611 yards and 12 touchdowns with only 2 interceptions. He has also added 2 rushing touchdowns on the ground. Charles Mimeault anchors the defense with 8 tackles, an interception, and a defensive touchdown. Going back-to-back is the goal, and the Flagvengers have every ingredient to do it — but as the team itself would likely acknowledge, the competition this season is stiffer than it was in the winter. The target on their back is real, and every team in this division will be circling their dates on the schedule.
4. Void — 3-1
Void have quietly become one of the more dangerous teams in the division. After a Week 3 forfeit loss to Flagvengers due to a cap bust, they responded with back-to-back wins — defeating OnlyFlagz 33-24 and receiving a 30-0 forfeit win over Mighty Schmucks on Monday night after another cap bust — to move to 3-1 and into fourth place. The narrative around this team is a simple one: when healthy and available, they have the talent to win it all. Jeff Rosenblatt owns the highest QB rating in the division at 131, has thrown for 626 yards and 14 touchdowns, and has not thrown a single interception. His connection with receiver Nicholas Di Maulo is as potent as any duo in the division — Di Maulo has hauled in 9 touchdowns in three games on 22 receptions. On defense, Anthony Giannatsis has been a playmaker with 2 interceptions and a defensive touchdown. The question that will define their season remains the same: will they show up consistently?
5. Mighty Schmucks — 2-2
Mighty Schmucks are an interesting team to watch, though their 2-2 record reflects a season that has swung in both directions. They showed real bite in Week 3 with a 34-12 win over OnlyFlagz, but a cap bust in Week 4 resulted in a 30-0 forfeit loss to Void — a costly slip in the standings. They carry a dual-quarterback setup between Justin Goodman and Charles Cossette and an interesting roster that has shown flashes of what it can do. With six games still to play and the standings tightly bunched, their second half of the season will go a long way in determining whether they can push back into the top tier.
6. OnlyFlagz — 1-5
OnlyFlagz stepped up in competition after the Winter 2026 season, and the adjustment has been a bumpy one. At 1-5, the record is tough to look at, but the story here is not entirely bleak. Hubert Noel is an up-and-comer who is absolutely a name to follow all season long. He leads the division in tackles with 17, ranks among the top players in interceptions with 3, contributes on offense with 20 receptions and 278 yards, and also sees snaps at QB. He is the kind of two-way player who makes you watch every rep. Mederic Morin has racked up 1,079 passing yards and 17 touchdowns — more yards than anyone else in the division — but 9 interceptions have been costly. Receiver Maxence Giroux (340 yards, 7 TDs) gives them a legitimate weapon. OnlyFlagz are not short on talent; they are short on results. The second half of the season is an opportunity to change that narrative.
7. Team Y.S. — 0-4
The record says 0-4, but Team Y.S. is a team worth watching in the second half of the season. QB Zach Deschamps is still growing into the position, and the raw tools are clearly there — he leads all division quarterbacks in yards per completion at 15.2 and has thrown for 747 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 5 interceptions are part of the growing process for a QB who is still learning when to take the safe throw. Around him, Karim Madji (20 receptions, 247 yards) and Reginald Prophete (7 receptions, 148 yards, 3 TDs in 2 games) give him real weapons to work with. If Deschamps tightens up his decision-making in the back half of the schedule, do not be surprised if Team Y.S. becomes a problem for teams that count them out.
8. Poseidons Kiss — 0-4
Poseidons Kiss sit at the bottom of the standings with a -94 point differential, and the challenges so far have been real. This is a team that, by their own trajectory, will put things together when they are healthy and when they show up. Rocco Christiano has moved the ball — 346 passing yards, 6 TDs, a rushing touchdown — and Stefano De Seta made an immediate impact in his one appearance (9 receptions, 100 yards, 2 TDs). The pieces exist. Getting them all on the field at the same time, consistently, is what will determine whether Poseidons Kiss can salvage something meaningful from the second half of their season.
