Division 4A: Fantasy Results & Team Ethnik’s Playoff Push feat. Angelo Mourelatos

The Winter 2026 season is coming to an end very soon. The playoff race in Division 4A is as close as ever, with only four teams missing out on a playoff spot. The difference between the 7th and 5th seeds is just two wins, and with some teams having two or even three games remaining, there is still room for major movement in the standings.

Division 4A has also seen some incredible individual performances this season. Evan Vavinis recorded the highest passing yards in a single game, while Snowdon Deli Degens put up 61 points in that same matchup. We also saw Trapstars’ Felix Sebag dominate with a seven-sack performance and he currently leads the division with 16 on the season. It will be a close race between him and Sam Anastasopoulos, who leads the division with eight interceptions. With both players having one game remaining, the final week could decide the DPOY honours.

We’ve also seen strong performances from the usual names like Nicolas Katerelos, Rocco Christiano, Justin Gauthier, and Samuel Côté, among others. At the same time, there’s been a rise from players we don’t typically see at this level, such as Team Canada’s Gabriel-Charles Dabé-Champagne taking over at QB for Ambush, as well as Reginald Prophete of the Nighthawks having a breakout season. It’s been a great watch for both fans and players in Division 4A.

For this week, we’ll go over the fantasy football lineups from myself and Anastasopoulos before having a virtual sit-down with Team Ethnik’s Angelo Mourelatos. Team Ethnik is one of the teams fighting for the final playoff spot and is coming off an impressive win over Ducks in Week 12.

Insight with Team Ethnik’s Angelo Mourelatos

How did you end up becoming a full-time member of Team Ethnik?

I think it’s a common story that repeats throughout FPF. I subbed a game for Ethnik one day, and after that they asked if I would be interested in joining the team permanently. We're a great group of veterans, everyone is awesome and are great teammates. It was a natural fit.

Since you’re in the fitness industry, what’s the biggest thing you’ve been able to carry over from your professional career into your time in FPF?

I am very fortunate to be in the gym 6 days a week. That alone is an advantage that a lot of people don't have due to schedules and life's chaos. Staying physically fit is super important, especially with high intensity activities like flag. I do love lifting weights, but more so in the last few years I have transitioned everything I do in the weight room to improve me in my sport specifically or as an athlete broadly. Being able to consistently improve my capabilities, as well as recover from injuries that we all go through faster, are the biggest advantages for playing in FPF.

It hasn’t been the best start to the season for Team Ethnik, but you guys picked up a huge win over the now 6-2 Ducks. What stood out to you in that game, especially with one of your two interceptions being the difference?

We played hard and until the end. The ducks are a very athletic team. I’m not surprised they have been having a good season. It was back and forth. We were able to keep it close, and Ben made some plays down the stretch that had us hold on. The interceptions only came to me because every other player was doing their job on D. Dave had a great pick as well. Afdaal, Bakley, Alexis, Henry are all great in coverage. Add to that Daniel is a very tough rusher to go up against. As a defensive player, I just need to make sure I do my job I’m supposed to do.

With you being just one point out of a playoff spot, the last three games are critical. What can you and your team take from that win into the rest of the season?

I think what we need to take most from it is that the start of our season is not who we are. Our future isn’t dependent on the past. Last season felt like when we were on our game no one could stand in our way. We’re the same team. We just need to keep this rhythm going and come playoffs we are going to be a problem.

Your next matchup is against Mofos, who have a very athletic QB in Tiemoko Sanogo leading the division in rushing. Defensively, what’s the game plan to limit his impact on the ground?

I think what any defence does in that situation is similar. Take away his quick options. Make him earn every throw. Make him beat you with his arm. Luckily we have our rusher Daniel who is an amazing athlete, tall and long arms. He is not going to be easy to deal with. So the more Tiemoko needs to deal with Daniel, the more we can focus on our coverage assignments, hopefully generating some turnovers in the process.

A bit of a different one, but if you could add one skill to your game to take it to the next level, what would it be and why?

This is a tough one. Growing up playing defensive tackle and fullback I never had the chance to develop skill position traits other than supplementary work I did on my own. I have picked up the defensive traits I feel make me a pretty well rounded corner. As much as I would love the ability to do those nasty hip drops that all the div 1-2 boys do ( Looking at guys like Mike Pierrecin, Nathan Tran, Isaac Paquette), I think I would love to have more of a receiver’s mindset/vision. I have all the physical qualities that can make me a bonafide WR1. I would love to instinctually be a bit better at knowing where the QB wants me to be and when to sit in soft spots. I have the hands, the feet, the route running, hops, spatial awareness and speed to give anyone a hard time in coverage. I just want that last piece to make me a complete #1 receiver.

Closing Remarks

Thanks Angelo and Sam for being part of this week’s article. After this week, we only have one more full week of regular season play before playoffs so make sure you get your 5 games and DO NOT FORFEIT or else you lose your playoff spot. That’s all I have for this week and as always, if you didn’t get a chance to respond or want to be included in future pieces, you can reach me on Facebook or Instagram @keyoncyrus.
