Quarter Finals Recap & Semi Finals Preview
Vengeance host EZW
First Half: Trading Blows
The first half saw both teams coming out strong, each putting up 19 points. Vengeance quarterback Kevin Wyeth quickly got into rhythm, throwing multiple touchdown passes, including two to Rory Semerjian and one to Jamal Noël. Wyeth had Vengeance’s offense firing on all cylinders.
EZW stayed right with them, Quarterback Jeremy White connected with Jean-Christophe, Alexandre Barros and Charles-Olivier Lavigne for touchdowns. White threw an interception late in the first half, but with one play left before halftime Vengeance couldn’t capitalize.
Second Half: Vengeance Pulls Away
Vengeance came out of halftime firing. Wyeth continued his masterclass performance and finished the game with an impressive 7 touchdown passes and 271 passing yards, with zero interceptions.
EZW fought hard to stay in the game, however, defensive lapses and missed opportunities allowed Vengeance to extend their lead. Matt Bond’s interceptions and Jamal Noël’s two sacks were key defensive plays that stifled EZW’s comeback attempts.

Blessed host KGP
First Half
The clash between KGP and Blessed was a rollercoaster of intensity from the start.
For KGP key completions to Jonathan Garfinkle and Mathieu Lepage set up their first touchdown, a 13-yard connection to Lepage, complemented by a successful two-point conversion. Quarterback Phil Cutler continued his sharp play with another touchdown to Garfinkle before halftime, but their two-point attempt fell short.
Blessed, led by Stephen Harripersaud, matched KGP every step of the way. Harripersaud connected with Laurent Foucault and Marvin Steinberg for touchdowns in the opening half. However, their attempts at two-point conversions were consistently thwarted, keeping the score within reach. Despite standout plays, including a sack by Noah Groper for KGP, Blessed managed to edge out a slim lead heading into the break.
Second Half: Blessed Surges Ahead
Coming out of halftime, both teams sought to capitalize on momentum, but it was Blessed who stayed ahead.
Harripersaud spread the ball effectively, hitting Marvin Steinberg and Laurent Foucault yet again for key first downs and touchdowns. Despite an interception by Bakari Barrett early in the second half, Blessed’s offense maintained its rhythm. Penalties by KGP further aided Blessed’s efforts, culminating in a series of significant scores.
On the defensive side, Hinsley Adams proved instrumental for Blessed, sacking Cutler twice, including a game-ending safety late in the second half.
KGP fought valiantly, with Cutler finding Garfinkle, Lepage, and Dylan Garber for critical completions, but they struggled to convert under pressure. A late touchdown by Bakari Barrett gave KGP hope, but it wasn’t enough as Blessed couldn’t be stopped.

SEMI FINALS BREAKDOWN
DA Braves vs Blessed
These 2 teams matched up in week 5 of the regular season, Blessed would take that game 42-40 and hand DA Braves one of their 2 losses on the season. Like most of the Blessed games this season, that win was reliant on the offence putting up big numbers, Stephen Harripersaud did just that throwing for 7 touchdowns with just 3 incompletions. For DA Braves Jonathan Maheu was just as impressive but one less 2 point conversion would prove enough to lose in that high scoring contest.
When these 2 teams see each other this time I predict a different outcome. Stephen Harripersaud has had an impressive season and even took home the quarterback of the year award, however in the playoffs DA Braves always find a way to win. I believe DA Braves defence will be on point and cause the Blessed offence to turn the ball over on more than one occasion and Jonathan Maheu will capitalize on every one of those opportunities.
Final prediction: DA Braves 40 – Blessed 32
Run it Once vs Vengeance
I will keep this short and not include a prediction as I play for Run it Once.
This game will come down to Jeff Rosenblatt and Kevin Wyeth.
Two very experienced quarterbacks whose play will determine the outcome in this one.
