Coed 3: Crunch Time Begins

Thunder Villains Stun Kiss My A’s
One of the biggest shocks of the week came when Thunder Villains took down Kiss My A’s in a hard-fought 26-24 battle. Kiss My A’s had built their reputation as a defensive powerhouse, but their ability to close out games has been shaky as of late. This time, they couldn’t contain Terry Babalis, who played a mistake-free game, going 19-for-29 with 169 passing yards and four touchdowns. His efficiency was the key difference, keeping the Thunder Villains in control while avoiding costly turnovers.
On the receiving end, Simon Valiquette was a go-to weapon, grabbing 10 catches for 54 yards and a touchdown, while Francesco Calabrese and Tristan Bigonesse each contributed deep-shot touchdowns. The defense also stepped up, with Calabrese snagging two interceptions to stall Kiss My A’s comeback efforts. For Kiss My A’s, Alexi Soilis continued his strong season with 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
DreamKillers Bounce Back, Hold Off Flamingos
After a tough loss to Vulturez in Week 9, DreamKillers responded with a much-needed 26-20 victory over Flamingos. The game was tight throughout, Noémy Fortin Hurtubise tossed four touchdown passes and her chemistry with Nicolas Katerelos was undeniable, as he hauled in five catches for 58 yards and a touchdown.
On the defensive side, DreamKillers made key plays when it mattered most. François-Xavier Delorme added another interception to his division-leading total at 10, while Alice Messier led the team with six tackles. With this win, DreamKillers improve to 6-2, keeping them within the top two playoff seed.
Flamingos, on the other hand, once again fell short in a close game. Jean-Sebastien St-Arneault threw for three touchdowns but struggled with consistency, completing just 15 of 33 passes. Their second-half push nearly brought them back, but fell just short.
Pick Artists Dominate Vulturez, Continue Their Surge
Pick Artists are making a serious push toward the playoffs after a dominant 39-18 win over Vulturez. Jacob Pelletier was on fire, throwing for 192 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73% of his passes. He spread the ball effectively, with Vincent Loranger, Florence Caron, and Justin Silinka each recording at least one touchdown.
On defense, Hubert Noel had a game-changing performance, picking off two passes and shutting down Vulturez’s top targets. After dropping a few close games earlier in the season, Pick Artists have now won three of their last four, solidifying themselves as a legitimate contender.
Vulturez, who had been riding high with four straight wins, were brought back down to earth in a humbling loss. The offense failed to stretch the field and their defense, which had been a strength during their win streak, gave up too many big plays. Now at 4-4, Vulturez need to rebound to avoid slipping out of the playoff race.

With just a few weeks left in the regular season, the playoff picture is getting clearer, but plenty of movement can still happen.
- Can DreamKillers continue their momentum? They take on Viscious & Delicious in what should be a game they’re favoured to win, but turnovers remain a concern.
- Pick Artists vs Thunder Villains is shaping up to be a major battle, with both teams trending upward. A win for either squad could shake up the standings.
- B&G’s vs Goal Diggers has major playoff implications. B&G’s are on the rise, while Goal Diggers need a win to stay alive in the race.
- Anything looks to stay undefeated against Ghosted—will they remain perfect, or could Ghosted pull off the biggest upset of the season?
With every game carrying so much weight, Week 11 is shaping up to be one of the most important weeks yet. Thunder Villains made a huge statement, DreamKillers are getting back on track, and Pick Artists are hitting their stride at just the right time. Meanwhile, Vulturez and Flamingos need to find answers quickly, or their playoff hopes could be in serious jeopardy.
